> We recently found ourselves in the terrible position of having to tear out a recently remodeled shower which had developed a leak in a faulty valve. We were so lucky to find Dan to do the work!  As I was searching for a new contractor I came across his name, called him and to my surprise he came over the same day to take a look.  I got three bids on the jobs and Dan's was very competitive. His approach to the job was thorough and professional.  His tile contractor and plumber were great to work with and our shower has been restored better than ever. He was able to salvage the adjoining vanity cabinet and floor which another contractor would have just torn out which saved us a lot of money.  His knowledge and competency are unquestionable and he definitely goes the "extra mile" to help his clients.   I could not recommend him more highly.

> We moved to Santa Rosa last winter to a home that had a kitchen original to 1986. It was to be a complete tear down. Our realtor referred Dan to us and we were very happy with the whole renovation project. Dan gave us fair and accurate quotes on each aspect of the job. He sent us to wholesalers he had a relationship with to select our cabinets, countertops and flooring. His subcontractors for electrical, plumbing, drywall and countertop installation were all professionals who completed their portions in a timely manner. Dan was great with communicating with us and the subcontractors to get the job completed in 22 days from demolition. When a painter could not be located to meet our schedule, Dan did the work himself. His work was excellent and reflects his many years of experience in home renovations. He made what could have been a stressful experience into one that was actually fun to watch. We even came in under budget on certain items. We highly recommend Dan Walters and plan to use him at a later date for a new project.

> My wife and I moved from Denver to Santa Rosa in 2013. The house we purchased was a foreclosure which is another way of saying it was in pretty bad shape. We were referred to Dan by our realtor. One of his strongest attributes is communication. He returns calls, sets accurate expectations, and completes the work as scheduled. He's developed relationships with qualified subcontractors who all did excellent work. Before we even moved into the house, Dan and his subs painted the entire interior of the house including removing the 'cottage cheese' ceiling, texturing and repainting it. Carpets were removed. A new furnace, air conditioner, and water heater were installed by his subcontractor. All passed inspection by the city. It was great to have these items completed before we arrived from Denver. Next, Dan installed a laminate floor in the living room which is gorgeous. He had subs replace all defective window screens plus a doggy door screen to the back patio. I mentioned that we needed to enclose the patio with a 30 ft fence so our dog wouldn't run away when outside. Before I could blink, he had fence posts cemented in and now there's a fine looking redwood fence enclosing the patio. For us, the highlight of Dan's work was the kitchen. We designed an Ikea kitchen with porcelain tile counters and back splashes. His tile subcontractor had great ideas. My wife and I went on a month-long vacation leaving Dan with 170 Ikea kitchen pieces to puzzle through. When we returned, the kitchen had been gutted and rebuilt. The tile artwork is stunning. Dan extended the laminate flooring into the kitchen and dining room. His sheet metal contractor removed the stove venting and installed new venting to match our design, not an easy feat. All along the way Dan communicated progress, shared ideas, and set clear expectations. He showed concern for our quality of life throughout the process.

> Dan Walters Construction has worked for us over the past twelve years.   Dan has done remodeling jobs for us from kitchens to exterior work through the years on various projects.  We trusted Dan in 2002 to contract/construct our 4,000 sq ft home in Squaw Valley (Lake Tahoe).  Dan has always offered on all our projects timely money saving suggestions based on his years' of experience in the industry.  Dan is a very thoughtful and careful contractor. This is found in all aspects of his contracting from dealing with building inspectors to sub's and ofcourse meeting deadlines.   I would recommend Dan Walters Construction, and have, to anyone with a need for a special contractor.  You will not be disappointed.
