But how? Our kitchen, built in 1931, was inadequate to begin with and we couldn’t think of how we would fit an extra two appliances into an already badly organized space. We engaged Architects' Guild in Bethel CT. to help us out. Debbie and Peter set out in our first exploratory meeting to create what seemed to us wonderfully creative ideas. In the end, they suggested we expand our kitchen into an unused maid's room. In doing that, they provided us with both the efficient laundry space we wanted and a lovely breakfast room with broad windows open to our backyard garden. We now have a remodeled, joy to work in kitchen with enhanced lighting, improved heating and added window space. Debbie and Peter were both sensitive to our needs and responsive to our infrequent requests for design modifications. At our request, they recommended a contractor and cabinetry supplier whom we hired. They provided support and guidance as the project progressed and made sure that while the kitchen was modernized, the design remained consistent with that of the rest of the house. They were meticulous in their work, and more importantly, meaningfully improved the quality of our lives. We often wondered what architects are for. Peter took all of our thoughts and poured them into a fabulous project. Every detail was thought of. As we take on different phases of the project over the course of a few years the design holds true to our needs as a growing family. I would definitely recommend giving Architect's Guild a call. Love the clean white look-great job! A: Hello. This ceiling color is Benjamin Moore, Decorator White, eggshell. Cabinet and trim paint is is a custom mix of White and White Dove, satin. A: A vanity counter supported by concealed wall brackets, and with no cabinets, could be a solution. Or simply select a wall-mount sink from one of the many plumbing fixture manufacturers.
