> My dad and I took on a pretty big home remodeling project finishing a large, unfinished second floor attic. We took it as far as we could and with an impending winter coming needed someone to come in and finish the job. I called Russ based on yelp reviews and he was onsite within a couple of days to do a bid. The price and scope of work he came back with was fair and included everything I'd asked for. It's really hard to find a good contractor and impossible to find one that can start right away but Russ worked some magic to get us on the schedule as quick as possible. Once on site his team, led by Miguel, was knowledgeable, efficient and precise. Within days a huge part of the work has been completed. We're now wrapping up some additional elements but are on track to be done on time and on budget.
>
> I couldn't recommend Russ any more than to say that if you want it done right at a fair price, give him a call.

> One of the worst experiences in dealing with a GC. Ended up having to pay someone else to fix his faulty work. Look elsewhere for a GC!!!!!

**★★★★★ — Jessica M, July 2017**

> Russ is friendly, reliable, and fast. He responded immediately online and even called within the hour. I talked to a lot of highly recommended contractors before going with SCI, and not only was he the most communicative and speedy, he was also cool and easy to talk to (whether or not you know anything). Throughout my rehab, he's signed/resigned/estimated/re-estimated/edited every little thing I (or my lender) asked for, and he was easy to reach and fast to respond.
> This was my first home buying process and when we decided to go for a rehab, I am so thankful I found him! He might not realize that we're best friends now, but he definitely knows I wouldn't go to anyone else for foundation work or any other heavy residential work I need done. Along with problem solving (he suggested a French tile drain for our tight border with a neighbor) and taking on giant projects like shoring/re-shoring and concrete work, he's detail-oriented and great at both huge renovations as well as smaller streamlined projects.
> He's cool with incorporating your ideas, or if you don't have any, giving suggestions~ examples of "smaller" projects included: he remodeled our kitchen, from backsplash to cabinets to flooring; he added vents/lines for a second laundry room; he fixed pipes (our house failed its water pressure test before we bought it); he hung new door kits.
> Highly, highly, highly recommend. If there were six stars, he'd get them! :)

> Had a water pipe freeze and burst, flooding the lower level. Work entailed removing the marble floor and replacing it, replacing drywall, insulation, window trim and baseboards. Painting entire lower level and part of main floor. While there was an initial miscommunication between owner and workers that resulted in a dust laden house, owner remedied the mishap immediately with a cleaning crew. Thereafter, contractor did an excellent job on all aspects of the required work. Contractor also made suggestions on certain items that improved the final product and look. Contractor also moved shutoff valve to interior of house to minimize potential for reoccurrence of frozen pipe issue, and then had good idea to camoflage the valve.
> Very impressed with work, attitude, responsiveness and budget.
> Would recommend to friends.
