I always try to talk it through with the contractor first. But Landon is to unprofessional to try and talk things out with. > > We quickly learned to be careful about telling Landon how we felt about his work (or lack thereof) because he gets hot quick and all professionalism goes out the door. We hired Landon to do our complete yard and paid him $55K+ for it. To us that was a lot of money and we expected that our landscaper would have attention to detail and make us somewhat of a priority. We were very mistaken. There were a lot of unexpected "bumps in the road" on his end and through the 8 months of working with him we always tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and just keep moving forward. > > We noticed that if he feels like he's losing control of a situation he will threaten you with liens and collection agencies instead of just talking through the situation with you and finding common ground. He made us feel like we were always trying to screw him over even though we paid every single invoice the moment he sent it to us. And the one time that we didn't (because we felt like we needed to protect ourselves in some way to make sure the job got completed) he immediately started to threaten us with liens. We had given him no reason to think we would screw him over, but he gave us every reason to think he wouldn't finish the job before 2017 ended if we paid the invoice. > > Buhler landscaping might give you a really great price but trust me when I say you get what you pay for. If you want a contractor that is professional, hardworking, has attention to detail and treats you with respect then don't hire Landon Buhler.
