We had very specific elements we were looking for including style, color and finish. Marc kept sending samples until he selected the perfect one for us, Portofino. The biggest selling point was a pre-finished wood floor with a square edge (no bevel) that looks as close to site-finished hardwoods as you can get without all the mess, extra labor and acclimation period. The installation went very well, including the stairwell that came out beautiful and some work around an existing wood burning stove.
