After graduating from Cornell University in 1996 with a BS in Landscape Architecture, I worked for two prominent landscape construction companies as their lead designer. I learned from the very best in the field, and in 2004 ventured out on my own to start my own company. With determination, hard work, and the love and support of my wife, I have fulfilled a life long dream of owning my own business. We hired Steve Firlit to provide us with a plan to beautify our property. We chose Firlit Landscape Design based on several recommendations received at area home and garden shows. Steve spent time understanding our likes and dislikes and then walked our property to view from all angles and sun exposure. He provided a very detailed architectural drawing with some very cool ideas we never would of thought of. His cost for the plan was very reasonable and well worth the first step to beautify our property. We made the decision to go with the full plan and chose Steve to execute it using reputable and highly skilled local landscapers. These individuals were professional and sensitive to working around us when we were home. The outside of our home has been transformed into beautiful gardens, patios and walkways that receive frequent praise from our neighbors, friends and visitors.
