So the floors got done first. When Classic Design removed the old countertops they did not cover my new floors & then broke the old granite off in chunks & threw it on the floors resulting in gashes & scratches on my new floor. The only explanation I got was the old countertops were put on with liquid nails and difficult to remove. Company was recommended by a neighbor. Classic Design was professional, on time, with superb workmanship. Had a sensitive issue; remove/replace counters without damaging a backsplash that was a piece of art. They did not damage a single tile. Cody, who was the sales person and oversaw scheduling and billing, was always available to answer our questions. An excellent contact point for us. During the first installation the veins didn't match and there was a wide gap between the granite slabs. They were installed by sub-contractor from Georgia. I called Classic Design and reported that the installation was unacceptable. Tania Lash said that she would stop by when she had time and agreed that the installation was unacceptable. She replaced it three weeks later, and used the same sub-contractor. Again, the same problems occurred, accept this time the granite was cracked. I notified Tania. She didn't bother to come check it, and either did anybody from Classic Design. I checked with several granite companies, they verified that there was a crack with a large seam in the middle. She sent someone to polish the granite. He said, he did the best he could, but we still had the same problem. Classic Designs sued me for final payment and I had to pay. Do Not use this company. Before you do, come see my granite first.
