I have visited a huge granite place and looked at probably 1000 slabs of product. After I picked out about 6 different ones i really liked they told me that they were ALL MARBLE. That they dont have white granite that looked the way I wanted, they were all speckly. So after hours I was more confused then ever. I went to another place and found this granite(maybe) that I really love and she assures me that this is granite...I asked like 10 times, but I am so skeptical. Can anyone help me? I know it is nearly impossible to see from the picture but I just don't believe anyone and I cannot have marble installed in my kitchen!! A: We went through the exact same dilemma when choosing a counter top. Didn't end up using quartz even though we wanted white. Ended up using granite because we had it in our old home and never ever had any issues with it. We fell in love with lots of Quartzite slabs too but chose granite because of our past experience and confidence we had in the stone. We chose a "White ice" leathered granite and absolutely LOVE IT!!
