**★★★★★ — Lisa, March 2020**

> We retained Kaye and Mike of ECOterra to design and build our forever home. We chose them because we wanted to build a environmentally mindful, sustainable, custom home complete with a solar system, radiant floor heat and a water containment system to capture/reuse the rain water from our roof.
>
> We gave Kaye our wish list of design features with the overarching vision to create a resort like setting, one where we felt like we were always on vacation when we were home. This included a 3 bedroom home with smart features, large indoor outdoor living space, detached casita, RV garage and lap pool. We couldn’t be happier with the end product!
>
> ECOterra’s commitment to quality is outstanding. One of the things that sets them apart from other builders is the degree of energy and “guts” they put in their homes. Not only does the house looks great but it operates at a high level. Our home was certified Emerald with Build Green NM, the highest rating possible for residential construction.
>
> Our home was featured in the summer 2019 Northern New Mexico Su Casa magazine. Additionally, our home won several awards during the Spring 2019 Parade of Homes.
>
> We had a truly wonderful experience with Kaye and Mike of ECOterra. We highly recommend them to build your dream home!

> My home was designed and built in 2010-11 by Mike and Kaye of Ecoterra, LLC. We've lived in the home since that time and have nothing but good things to say about the quality of the home and the service provided by Ecoterra, LLC.
>
> The design and build process was very straightforward. Kaye was especially attentive to our needs in the home and offered suggestions every step of the way. By the time we got to the actual build, and because of the time spent in the design process, the build went very smoothly. No change orders were to be had and the design met our needs precisely.
>
> I would not hesitate to both recommend and use Ecoterra, LLC for my next home.
>
> Regards,
> Dan

> Our builder was highly skilled in both the engineering and architecture aspects of our project, completing a green-built home within budget and on time. Having been in the home 9 years now, we can truly say it's been the best built home we've ever lived in. We would definitely recommend this builder and hire them again.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Cabinet Stain Color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Curious if you know the color stain used on the cabinets? Its hard to match out samples to the computer screen. Thanks in advance.

A: Hello, and thank you for contacting ECOterra Design/Build.
The cabinets in the photo above are Liptus Wood with a Mahogany stain.
Hope that helps!
Thanks
