> We live in Ohio and were planning to build a home in the mountains south of Hendersonville, NC.   Matt Holloway at Aspen Builders was recommended to us by friends whose home in Kenmure was remodeled by Aspen.  Matt came to our initial meeting totally prepared with an in-depth & detailed cost proposal for our project.  He had obviously done his homework, a pleasant surprise!  He supplied us with the names and contact info for many of his other clients and we called most of them.  Across the board - GREAT reviews and all had stayed friends with Matt and his crew after completion of their projects.  The Aspen Crew worked well with our out-of-state designer and sent photos of progress regularly.  On those occasions when we were able to make the trip to NC to check on progress, Matt gave us all the time we needed and made it possible for us to meet with many of the major subs as well (painter, stone mason etc.).  Neighbors often mentioned to us that they were impressed how clean Aspen kept our building site.  Our home turned out beautifully and Aspen has been faithful with follow-up, tending promptly to even the smallest settling crack in the paint.  Aspen has since built a home for a neighbor in our development and they also were quite pleased.  We had a great experience with Matt Holloway and the entire Aspen crew and we LOVE our new home in the mountains!!
