> We had a section of our back yard that needed both landscaping and revised fencing. The original wrought iron fence, part of a dog run, provided a closed space for a dog, but nothing of joy for us, and it excluded ready access to part of our back yard. We needed a remodel to carry forward the xeriscaped theme of most of the rest of our landscaping, provide a nice place to sit and relax, and hide our backup generator. Renovation would include cutting away a portion of an iron fence, completing a property boundary wall, removing lots of concrete curbing, revising the irrigation system, bringing in lots of new rock, soil, and mulch, and featuring plantings that would be Colorado-hardy, low-water-requiring, and colorful thought the year.

> Boulder Landscape and Design transformed our front and back yards! Samantha Spenser, the designer, was a pleasure to work with, providing expert design advice and excellent customer service. One of the best parts is how often neighbors tell us how wonderful our yard looks. They ask about specific plants,  of course, but they also ask about the designer. Samantha was attentive, prompt, and open to changing circumstances. After our initial design was finished for our back yard, we--unfortunately-- needed to cut down a large tree that was diseased. Since that changed the amount of shade and the visual aspect of the design, Samantha re-worked the design and it came out great. I totally recommend Boulder Landscape and Design.
