Recommended by an architect, Jim gave us all the assurances of creating what we wanted in renovating our DTLA penthouse loft, almost a complete interior rebuild. Jim and his team of professionals were a delight to work with and a lot of fun as well. Over the time it took to renovate and rebuild most of the loft, we got to know Jim quite, well - personally and professionally he is honest, high level of integrity, a gentleman at all times and everything was always possible. Jim was cost conscious and found ways to improve quality and workmanship at a lower cost. He always supported our decisions and never, never said anything was impossible. He had his team put together an imported branded kitchen from Italy and took the time to speak, on many occasions, with our Italian designer in Italy to ensure measurements where correct, to the millimeter and then his team (and Jim) were on hand to assemble the kitchen (no easy task). If there was a 10 star category for Arend & Associates, we would give all ten stars to them. As the expression goes, “you get what you pay for,” but with Arend & Associates, you get a lot more than what you pay for - you get professionals that are honest, thoughtful, who care about the quality of the work for you.
