**★★★★★ — Beatriz Wells, July 2026**

> I hired them to help design and build out a custom home office and gaming room. I had very specific requirements for cable management and desk placement. They actually listened to what I needed instead of just pushing a generic modern design. The custom shelving they installed is incredibly sturdy. Really happy with the final setup

> We used DGI when we moved from a 1500sqft apartment in NYC to a 4200sqft home in Chicago. It was a new build that was ~80% complete so DGI came in and selected light fixtures, paint colors, mirrors, certain hardware, wallpaper and then they did all of the furnishings for our home. DGI was easy to work with remotely and worked quickly to understand our style and preferences. There were very few iterations for our project as they took our feedback seriously and made selections that we LOVED. We completed the project just before Covid-19 came and have spent the better part of the year in our beautiful home. I am gratefuly every day that we used DGI to set us up in a new city and to make our home a welcoming place for our family and new friends. We look forward to using them again on future home projects and cannot recommend the team enough.

> Devon and her team are great to work with! We have an old house that provided plenty of challenges, but they brought creative ideas and delivered a really nice design. My wife and I have slightly different tastes, so it was great to have DGI’s help finding the perfect common ground (with minimal cussing involved :) ).

> We have been working with the Devon Grace Interiors team for 3 years now. Their attention to detail, project management and designs are all best of the best that we've worked with for the last 20 years. They are not afraid to work with mixed materials in their designs. I highly suggest that you allow Devon Grace Interiors to make your home and project picture perfect!

> DGI was amazing to work with on our new build! They nailed our vision perfectly and we couldn’t be more in love with our new home! They were always fast to respond and help with any issues! We initially hired them to help pick out the finishes of the house but we loved their design so much we added on the furnishing of the main floor and master! We look forward to use them again on future projects!

**★★★★★ — Farah Adhi, May 2019**

> Devon was very professional and easy to work with ! She was also very flexible to allow us to incorporate the pieces we already had into new designs. She designed our living and family room space and connected us with a artisan who handmade our reclaimed wood table. It’s still our favorite space in the house.

**★★★★★ — Nicole Wegman, May 2019**

## Community Q&A

**Q: Beautiful renovation!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Beautiful renovation! Love the classy pops of color.

A: Thank you so much!

**Q: What is the wall color? Navy or Charcoal?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Would Love to use this color in guest room

A: Thanks for the quesiton! The paint shown here is Benjamin Moore's Ashland Slate, although it photographs much more blue. We also love Benjamin Moore's Hale Navy.

**Q: Where are the shelves on the wall from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Those shelves were custom made

**Q: help with bathroom blinds** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hi, I am looking for a relatively inexpensive and simple blind option for my bathroom window, which is 48 x 48 with white trim. I'm thinking maybe something floral and bright, not wood. I will be raising and lowering it every day so it needs that functionality, but this size doesn't seem to be standard (or I am looking in the wrong places!). Can you help suggest where I can look for this size blind? Maybe a roman shade or something, I'm not too fussy on the type - more worrying about how to get that size. Thanks!

A: Hi Emma!
I love the Shade Store, they offer a variety of prints and patterns and a 48x48 shouldn't be too expensive. You can choose from Flat Romans, Relaxed Romans, Roller Shades, etc. They will have someone come out and measure for free to guarantee a perfect fit.

Good luck!
-Devon

**Q: Need help with dining room** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hello! Moving into a new house, gray walls, dark wood floors, open floor plan. Dining room is open to kitchen, entry and living room. Looking for transitional table, not overly modern, not traditional to seat 8-12 people. 94inches to work with. Budget is ~$2,500 for table. Much thanks!

A: It depends on what type of material/color you are looking for, but Crate and Barrel is a great source for transitional tables in that price range. Good luck!!

**Q: Please help me pick my backsplash...again** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We are in round 2 of putting up a back splash in our kitchen that we have been renovating for over a year and a half. A couple of months ago my husband was putting up the first back splash we had chosen and the more that went up, the more I disliked it. (First pic shown below.) I found it too busy and overwhelming. I convinced my husband to pause and ultimately redo. Here we are two months later and we have narrowed things down (again) to two glass tile choices. This time I am going monochromatic but there are two color options in this style: white and bone. The tiles themselves have texture and I feel adds interest. I initially wanted white but now I am considering the bone choice more as I feel it will add warmth and pull in color from the floor. I am also contemplating grout color for either option. Please help me make the RIGHT choice the second (and final) time around. See other pics for a pic of my kitchen and the samples displayed on the wall, on the left side close to the coffee maker. Thanks in advance for your insight and feedback!

A: My vote is for white tile with a white backsplash! The bone is beautiful but I feel it is too similar to the floors (which are gorgeous!) so the white would be a nice way to brighten the space up and add some contrast Good luck!! Can't wait to see some after photos! :)
