They are smooth, and have not broken the skin. Inside looks fine, is it ok to eat? Can I prevent this? A: Were there any problems with the leaves of the tomato plant you picked from? If t could be a fungal infection...... If not, probably nothing but some sunburn, etc. I would eat it too. The leaves seem to be wilting. They are not at the bottom of the plant, but rather look like new leaves. This is my first time planting tomatoes. Does anybody know what can be causing this?
