**★★★★★ — Brad & Kelly Epstein, Dec. 2019**

> My wife and I hired Hillcrest Construction to complete a MAJOR home renovation which included the build-out of a new master bedroom, bathroom and closet on our second floor. This project was an enormous undertaking inclusive of the removal of the rear second floor of our home and redesign of the original roof line to something more aesthetically pleasing. Andrew and team walked through every step with us and ensured we were not only informed but engaged throughout. From design and planning through closeout - no details were too small to discuss and there were never any assumptions made without our input and approval.
>
> Andrew and team were not shy to highlight any potential risks, and would always provide their input on best practices to be implemented. At no point in our project did we ever question Andrew's ability, judgement or interests in our project as he treated our home as if it were his own and would always appreciate this project from the perspective of the homeowner as well (this is probably where Hillcrest differs from most design/build contractors). If possible we would give Andrew and the Hillcrest team 10 stars as there will never be another need to look further than Hillcrest in the future.

> My husband and I are not handy at all and have busy jobs, so when we were faced with an unexpectedly extensive renovation project when a pipe burst in our new home just prior to closing, we knew we needed a design/build remodeler who could handle all aspects of the project. I was impressed right off the bat when Andrew - Hillcrest’s owner - reached out directly in response to my project inquiry as opposed to a project advisor or an impersonal auto reply. Andrew’s attention to detail and transparency were evident from the detailed scope and budget materials he presented during our pre-construction meetings. He came up with creative and attractive ways to address our needs while being mindful of our budget. Everything was clearly communicated and carefully planned prior to construction such that there were few if any surprises during the project. Our friends and family were amazed to hear that Hillcrest gave us daily updates with pictures and provided a detailed project schedule. You hear horror stories about contractors but Andrew and his team (Christian and John) were a pleasure to work with. With their level of communication, honesty, craftsmanship, and attention to detail, we knew we could put our trust in Hillcrest, which prevented a lot of stress and uncertainty. We are so grateful to Hillcrest for making our dream home a reality!

**★★★★★ — Jessica M, Aug. 2023**

> We hired Hillcrest for a 2-part project in our basement. We had started with a solo contractor to renovate our unfinished basement, but we had to part ways due to subpar work. We brought Hillcrest in to redo the poor-quality work the previous contractor had done, and to complete the project. They were very honest about the issues the previous contractor had left, and what they could and couldn't do. Once that work was complete, we hired Hillcrest to build a custom bar in the basement.
>
> Andrew was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was excellent at listening to our vision and partnering with us on the bar design to bring it to life, even when we would second guess ourselves about our choices. He is honest and fair, and very communicative. We always knew what was coming next and when. Equally if not most importantly, the actual workmanship is stellar. Christian, the carpenter, is a gem. We have gotten so many compliments on the beauty of the bar area and we couldn't be more pleased.
>
> We are very pleased with our choice to work with Hillcrest on this project and look forward to an opportunity to work with them again!

**★★★★★ — Katey McGuire, March 2023**

> Hillcrest Construction completed the renovation of our 3 bathrooms. We could not be happier.
> From start to finish, project details were clearly defined and communicated to us on a regular basis.
> The workmanship was excellent and the aesthetic was better than we imagined.
> Probably the one thing that impressed us the most about Andrew and his Hillcrest Construction team was how they worked to understand our needs and ideas and then created a custom solution that perfectly met our needs and improved on our ideas.

**★★★★★ — HU-631514215, Nov. 2022**

> We were very fortunate to have found Hillcrest Construction! From our first meeting to the completion of our project, Andrew and his team, especially Christian, were professional and knowledgeable. Our original contractor was unable to complete our bathroom renovations, but Hillcrest was able to step in and complete the jobs seamlessly. The results were far superior than anything we even imagined! Andrew’s emphasis on communication helped the renovation process proceed without any difficulty or delay even when we were away on vacation. There was nothing they couldn’t do and went above and beyond to accommodate any requests we made. We could not have been happier with the outcome! Hillcrest Construction is the best and we look forward to working with them again for future projects!

**★★★★★ — Lauren Camerieri, March 2022**

> Andrew and the full Hillcrest team have just completed another project for us on our house in Media. The team is very detail-oriented, great communication, and organized. They also have exceptional craftsmanship and I can always rely on high-quality recommendations and a finished product.
> Always recommend Hillcrest Construction!

**★★★★★ — Primary Bath, Jan. 2022**

> We had no doubt that Hillcrest Construction would be ideal for our home remodel. Not only is Andrew an expert and talented carpenter himself, but he's also trustworthy and ethical, organized, thorough, knowledgeable, and an excellent manager. The Hillcrest team did an excellent job of transforming our small 1950s ranch house into a showpiece. Everyone on the crew was professional, pleasant, and cared deeply about the quality of their work. No detail was left to chance. This was a massive project and we're so glad we entrusted it to Andrew and his Hillcrest team.

**★★★★★ — lmmccarthy3, Nov. 2021**

> Hillcrest did a complete gut renovation of my guest bathroom. The project took six weeks, which was a few days longer than expected, and the finished product is perfect. Planning, purchasing, and scheduling were very detailed. Andrew gives high priority to communication and responded promptly to all questions and concerns. Extensive steps were taken to protect the rest of my house from damage and dust during demolition and construction. The workmanship was top quality and the crew was attentive to detail and pleasant to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Hillcrest again for a future project.

**★★★★★ — HU-306176288, June 2020**

> Hillcrest Construction did a wonderful job fabricating and installing new wood posts and railings to the porch of our 1732 farmhouse. Throughout the project Andrew was responsive to our questions and kept us updated on the project progress. On the worksite, Andrew and Christian were respectful to our family and our property. We are so pleased with the craftsmanship of the work they completed - the porch looks brand new but maintains the character and history of our home. We’d highly recommend Hillcrest Construction!

**★★★★★ — Marisa, Nov. 2019**

> We are so pleased with our experience working with Hillcrest Construction. Our expectations were met and we are excited to be working with them for the next phase of our project.
>
> After interviewing a few contractors for our multi-phased renovation we chose Hillcrest because of their insightful questions to us and their open, honest communication (this was a constant through the project)
>
> We feel their attention to detail, problem solving skills (in a renovation you never know what you will find behind walls!) and their understanding of how work should be phased (no doing work twice) made the project move smoothly and successfully. We’ve enjoyed the process of our renovation and having Hillcrest Construction on board has made that happen.

**★★★★★ — Joyce Lowry, Aug. 2019**

> Andrew was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable and gave me suggestions when asked. The quality of work he did was excellent. He was great at keeping to his timelines and keeping me updated with the progress. Andrew installed a new entrance door and storm door and updated the area surrounding the doors.

**★★★★★ — Kirk Lawrence, May 2019**

> Our experience with Andy and his team at Hillcrest Construction was first rate from start to finish. Andy’s attention to detail and knowledge made our dream of a new deck and outdoor space a reality. Hillcrest Construction delivered a beautiful deck and home improvement project on time. Our family and friends are so impressed... even the County Inspector commented about the craftsmanship and design. It was a pleasure working with Hillcrest Construction and we look forward to bringing them on for future projects!

  - Description: This guest bathroom project served as a past-due update to a 1920s Art Deco single in the East Mount Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA. After a century's time, the original finishes were past their prime of function and form, and that said, the original Art Deco style remains timeless. A floor mosaic of china black, thassos, and statuary marble sets the tone immediately. The walls are clad with a ceramic tile ensemble that wraps the whole room, and an existing arch over the bathtub was rebui…

  - Description: This powder room redo was part of a larger laundry room/powder room renovation. Not much was needed to update this builder-grade powder room into a mid-century throwback that will be used for both house guests and the homeowners. The existing single vanity was replaced by a "home decor boutique" offering, and the angular Moen Genta fixtures play well off of the wall-mounted oval framed mirror. The walls were painted…
