> Higgason Construction remodeled our master bathroom and did a fabulous job.  I interviewed a number of contractors and Shannon had the best ideas for changing the configuration of the bathroom to accommodate a large shower and remove a bathtub.  We worked directly with Shannon on the design which included a floating quartz bench in the shower, a rain head fixture, addition of a window in the toilet compartment and a custom backsplash.  The project involved demolition of the existing bathroom to the studs, moving plumbing and electrical connections, new cabinetry, countertops, extensive tiling, finish carpentry and painting.  Shannon was in constant communication with us before, during and after the project.  The workmanship was excellent and I look forward to having Higgason undertake further remodeling projects for us.

**Q: Cement tile as backsplash...** *(in Photo Questions)*

I LOVE this look & would like to do this for my project. But how does "cement" tile perform as a backsplash? Does it need to be sealed? How does it handle food splashes, etc?

A: Gotta seal the tile before you install it
