She was very quick, understood the aesthetic we were searching for and nailed the budget that we laid out for her. It was a very seamless process and we're very happy with the results. **★★★★★ — HU-239373008, April 2026** > We had a great experience redesigning our living spaces with Natalie. We love how bright and fresh it all feels, while being pretty child friendly too. Natalie was so easy to work with and was always available to help with anything that came up. **★★★★★ — producewell, Aug. 2025** > When I first interviewed Natalie, I could tell that she operates out of trust and expertise, and I’m so happy that I was able to work with Natalie on the furnishings and decor of my new house! Her experience, professionalism and kindness were supportive and my home looks better than I could imagine ever accomplishing without the best help. For any project where I felt unclear about where to start, Natalie was terrific at helping me get a sense of direction. Best of all, she never pushes. In fact, Natalie creates an awesome environment of collaboration, which I noticed whenever I rejected options and offered my feedback or my reasons why. She is congenial and very calm in manner. With her talent and experience, she was able to take my requests into account and put together a cohesive vision for my living room, office, dining room, family room, a guest room, and our library. I loved looking at samples with her, and learning from her the right dimensions for pieces. She’s always responsive and prompt with appointments, and with answers to any questions that either my husband or I had, and more than that, she doesn’t drop the ball on longer term issues. Her billing is fair, her rate is accessible, and she has the utmost integrity. As if that weren’t enough, she is a truly enjoyable person to work with, and very easy to depend on whenever making decisions! I give her my most high recommendation. **★★★★★ — Tegan S., Aug. 2025** > Professional, warm, organized and elegant. Natalie upgraded furniture and rugs, supervised cabinet installation and new drapes, all with a discerning eye for color, line and texture and without compromising on the household's practical needs (accommodating two very small children!). Highly recommended. **★★★★★ — cebrodie, July 2025** > Natalie at Grey Collective was an absolutely pleasure to work with! She’s extremely responsive and was flexible with working within our time constraints in getting our new home furnished quickly. She picked our great pieces that I wouldn’t have been able to find on my own. She kept us organized by sending presentations with it all together to visually see how it would look, along with links . I highly recommend using her interior design services! **★★★★★ — jayme eskowitz, July 2025** > Natalie at Grey Colletive went above and beyond to make sure that eveything was perfet from start to finish. She worked with our budget, helped our home stay kid friendly and still chic and a pure joy to work with. We loved all the ideas she brought to us big and small and we trusted her ideas and visions. She turned our house into a home and we are forever greatful to have met Natalie and the opportunity to work with her talent! I couldnt recommend Grey Collective enough- The BEST! **★★★★★ — J Ruts, May 2025** > Working with Natalie Mason (Grey Collective) has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our home. She immediately understood what we were aiming for—even when we weren’t totally sure ourselves—and brought it to life in a way that feels both stylish and livable. Every room now feels intentional and cohesive, without ever feeling overdone or too precious. She’s also incredibly easy to work with: responsive, organized, and great at keeping things moving without adding stress. With a demanding job and a young kid, I especially appreciated how she kept the process efficient and fun. I’d recommend her to anyone looking to elevate their space with someone who truly knows what they’re doing. **★★★★★ — lyndsay\_nevins, April 2025** > We are currently working with Natalie on furnishing our entire house, room by room. She completely understands our vision for the space and is so great at articulating our thoughts and making our ideas a reality, even when we are struggling to identify exactly what we like and don't like. She's found some really unique pieces that make our house feel special, yet they are timeless as well. Her style is clean, modern, sophisticated, and warm - she knows how to create a space that feels both comfortable and elevated. > > Her design process is thorough and organized - she designs room schemes for us to pick out what furniture and which combinations we like best for each room. It's so helpful to see things in advance of purchasing, to make sure we're making the right choices. She's incredibly patient, accommodating, confident and knowledgable. Not only is her style and aesthetic great, but she's also a true pleasure to work with. We're super excited to see how our house will turn out, since we know it's going to be beautiful! **★★★★★ — HU-903956772, March 2025** > Natalie is a tremendous asset and an incredible designer. She is working with me on a massive remodel project for a beach home. She has so many great ideas, stays on track for everything, and always supports the budget that I have for the project. In addition to all of that, she’s so pleasant to work with and makes the process enjoyable. I look so forward to working with her again! **★★★★★ — yosephagreenfield, March 2025** > We worked with the Grey Collective a couple of years ago to design our 3 bedroom apartment. She took the time to get to know us well and really understand our design aesthetic. From there, she put together design schemes that considered the way we live and our preferences but that also pushed the vision beyond what we could picture for ourselves. Once we agreed on the direction, Natalie took the reins and made it as easy as possible for us. She was organized and easy to communicate throughout. The end result was amazing!! We were super happy to come home every day to our beautiful apartment! > > We recently moved into a bigger home with our expanding family. It was an obvious choice to re-hire the Grey Collective. The home is in a completely different style as are our needs this time around (more bedrooms, indoor, outdoor, some construction design, etc). Natalie continues to impress us with her vision, professionalism, and aesthetic. > > Definitely recommend!! **★★★★★ — marcus bradley, March 2025** > Natalie was 10/10 thorough and helpful and great to work with on our playroom, living room, and home office redesign. She helped us hone in on what was important to us and then presented a variety of great options within those concepts, considering both style/aesthetic and practicality/every day use of the space. I would highly recommend Natalie/Grey Collective. **★★★★★ — Lauren, Oct. 2024** > My husband and I are currently working with Natalie Mason / Grey Collective and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Every room she touches feels cohesive and beautifully curated, yet still functional for our family. > > Natalie has an incredible eye for design and a talent for blending textures, colors, and styles in a way that feels fresh and timeless. > What truly sets her apart is her ability to balance her creativity with practicality. She thoughtfully incorporated pieces we already owned, combined them with beautiful new pieces, and has created a space that feels high-end and unique without sacrificing function. > > On top of that, Natalie had made the entire process fun and seamless. She listens closely to our ideas, guides us through every step of the design process, and is always available to answer questions or make adjustments as needed. As two working professionals with busy jobs and a young child, Natalie has always been patient and accommodating with us. We are so grateful for her expertise, attention to detail, and professionalism, and we look forward to continue working with her! Her incredible sense of style and taste, her openness to our needs, her attentiveness to every detail and her ability to design our home in a pretty tight timeframe – all made this a wonderful experience. She was also great with my family –patient with our schedules and working around them as needed - while still making sure everything was done well. She created such a beautiful home for us – well beyond my dreams! She is simply outstanding! **★★★★★ — Alex, Oct. 2022** > I was referred to Natalie (owner of Grey Collective) by a friend who Natalie helped with her apartment interior design. My wife and I had just bought a house, moving from an apartment, and needed someone to help guide us in designing and furnishing our new larger space. She helped us figure out how to best use our space/layout and came up with several different furniture/design options for each of our main spaces based on various inspo pages we shared with her. She also found great options within our overall budget, and managed everything with vendors seamlessly on our behalf. > > Working with Natalie was fantastic - she is highly professional, responsive, organized, and collaborative. She did a really nice job of bringing our not-so-well-formulated design vision to life, while introducing us to new ideas and concepts that we otherwise would not have considered. What we appreciated most about Natalie is how she helped create a house that is in our own taste & style, while still providing her own guidance and direction, including honest feedback when we were considering design ideas that she knew wouldn't work well for our space. **★★★★★ — Sarah Lavia, July 2022** > We had a wonderful experience working with Natalie on our new home build. From the minute I met her I was impressed with her chic personal style and easy demeanor. She was a much needed confident and calm presence while taking on a project that we were starting from scratch. Natalie helped guide us in finding our design aesthetic and was flexible with changes and pivots throughout the process. She was very detail oriented, kept our schedule on track, and produced a beautiful move in ready home for our family of 5 with the minimum amount of stress possible. I can not recommend Natalie enough! **★★★★★ — Shirley, July 2022** > Natalie has impeccable taste. Her concepts and designs are timeless, detailed and beautiful. She met our practical needs without compromising aesthetic. And on top of it all she is an absolute pleasure to work with. **★★★★★ — Greg, July 2022** > I am a business/estate manager for an entrepreneur in Los Angeles. We partnered with Natalie & Grey Collective to help interior design a 10,000 sqft home in Brentwood. We couldn't be more happy with the outcome. Natalie's combination of creative design ability, communication and attention to detail made the process very seamless. She is a pleasure to work with and was there by our side from start to finish over the course of 8 months. We plan to continue working with her on numerous other projects. If only I could give this 10 stars. **★★★★★ — Rachel Yorke, Sept. 2020** > Working with Natalie was an absolute pleasure! As a designer, she has an incredible eye for both style and function. She provided multiple schemes for each room, which were all so beautiful it was hard to select just one! Her style is clean and bright, sophisticated yet down to earth. As an individual, Natalie was fantastic to collaborate with. She really listens to your ideas--even if you are struggling to fully articulate your vision--and incorporates any feedback you have. I can't imagine a better designer to partner with in bringing your home to life. > > I am so thankful we worked with Natalie, and we absolutely love our space. I would highly recommend working with Natalie for all your design needs! **★★★★★ — Jessica Kimiabakhsh, Sept. 2020** > It was our first time working with a designer and we were hesitant. Natalie quickly won us over with her professionalism, warmth, transparency, flexibility, responsiveness and taste. She told us exactly what we could expect in terms of project timeline and her associated fees, so there were no surprises. We gave her a budget for furniture and she was diligent about sticking to it, always giving multiple options and explaining her process and the trade-offs we should consider. She did a wonderful job of understanding our priorities and the vibe we were going for. Her schemes were beautifully presented and made it easy to decide on a direction. She took our feedback seriously and went back to the drawing board if necessary. We have referred her to multiple friends, who immediately loved her and hired her on the spot. We love our home and credit Natalie's vision, process and talent with the results. **★★★★★ — Madeleine Despins, Sept. 2020** > My boyfriend and I moved into our place together last year and we had no idea where to start when it came to interior decorating. Additionally, we both had busy jobs and were dreading the thought of spending our free time on the weekends going to a million furniture stores. Working with Natalie alleviated all of this. She was always professional, friendly, and patient. She took the time to give us many different options (through awesome easy to digest slides) for each piece of furniture for every room in our place at all different price points. And when we agreed on all the furniture she organized all the buying and shipping so that all the furniture would just arrive at our place and we didn't have to lift a finger, it was amazing. Our place turned out better than we could have possibly imagined and people compliment us all the time on our taste. If you want an easy, affordable way to make your place amazing, I highly recommend the Grey Collective. ## Selected projects - [31st Street](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/31st-street-pj-vj~7642996) - Location: Santa Monica, CA - Photos: 15 - [Benedict Canyon](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/benedict-canyon-pj-vj~7032002) - Location: Beverly Hills, CA - Photos: 16 - Description: Full renovation of Primary Bathroom and Bedroom Suite in Beverly Hills. - [Las Flores Mesa](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/las-flores-mesa-pj-vj~7535661) - Location: Malibu, CA - Photos: 12 - [Vista Haven](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/vista-haven-pj-vj~7032014) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 16 - Description: Full renovation and redesign of Mid-Century modern home in Los Angeles. - [Rising Glen](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/rising-glen-pj-vj~7114767) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 14 - Description: Architectural Contemporary Residence in the Hollywood Hills - [Putney](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/putney-pj-vj~7148724) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 15 - Description: Elegant Transitional Home with a Contemporary and Organic Touch - [Kenfield](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/kenfield-pj-vj~6672177) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 21 - Description: Contemporary Architectural Estate - [Franklin Canyon](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/franklin-canyon-pj-vj~6888330) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 10 - Description: Full-Scale Remodel of Kitchen and Bathrooms for Contemporary Canyon Home. - [Monument](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/monument-pj-vj~6489593) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 12 - Description: Modern Farmhouse with a Coastal Feel - [Lowry](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/lowry-pj-vj~6419254) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 9 - Description: Classic Contemporary Primary Bedroom in Los Feliz - [Louisiana](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/louisiana-pj-vj~6419258) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 8 - Description: Contemporary Living Room with an Organic Feel in Century City. - [Greenfield](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/greenfield-pj-vj~6347986) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 14 - Description: Renovation of Modern Farmhouse in Los Angeles - [Abington](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/abington-pj-vj~6347982) - Location: Beverly Hills, CA - Photos: 7 - Description: Renovation of Classic Contemporary Home in Beverly Hills - [Royal Oak](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/royal-oak-pj-vj~6347832) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 4 - Description: Furnishing of Modern Farmhouse in Encino - [La Jolla](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/la-jolla-pj-vj~6347827) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 2 - Description: Furnishing of Relaxed California Residence in Los Angeles - [4th Street](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/4th-street-pj-vj~6347825) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 2 - Description: Furnishing of Comfortable California Residence in West Hollywood - [Meet Our Team!](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/meet-our-team-pj-vj~6348709) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - Description: Founder & Principal Designer: Natalie Mason [See all 17 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/interior-designers-and-decorators/grey-collective-pfvwus-pf~792484524) ## Video - [Company video](https://player.vimeo.com/external/1035248738.m3u8?s=95f5f6a725aa8484696e870ae082dc7233e2be8d&oauth2_token_id=1384357804) ## Frequently Asked Questions **What types of interior design projects do you specialize in (full-home, single room, remodel support)?** We specialize in a wide range of residential projects, from furnishing and light renovations to full remodels and new construction.
