Trueform is a horrible company. I paid $540 to order a sample for a custom color countertop. I received the sample and it was a perfect color match to the wood plank that I provided and appeared to be made well and extremely durable. I then placed an order for custom countertops based on the sample that was provided. Once the countertops were complete Trueform contacted me to say that there was a QC “quality check” issue and the delivery and installation would be delayed. A few days later the countertops were delivered and installed and they were a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLOR than what I ordered. I ordered a dark walnut brown and they gave me a deep cherry wood - dark red color. The picture attached shows what I ordered on the left and what they actually produced on the right. They attempted to offer me a discount to keep the wrong color countertops, and I declined and requested that they provide me with countertops that matched the sample. > > It took another eight weeks to have the second countertops installed. The second countertops weren’t completely painted, and they damaged my cabinets during the re-installation. (Pictures of the sloppy paint job are attached.) Within the first two months of having the countertops I have had issues with color chipping off and significant discoloration due to the lack of a sufficient protective coat. > > Kitchens count for about 10-15% of a home's overall value, and Trueform has essentially LOWERED the resale value of my home. Their website states that their "mission is to co-create pieces that feel natural, elevate the spaces they inhabit, and make people happy,” but they have turned my kitchen renovation into an absolute nightmare. A: Hi Pamela, Happy Monday! The most common culprit contributing to splash ishigh water velocity. Your bathroom sink water flow rate should be somewhere around 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm). A: Good Morning, Thanks for reaching out! All of our concrete products come with a topical sealer from the factory! This should prevent most staining. I do want to mention that harsh cleaners, and acidic food and drinks can damage the sealer. This can lead to staining.
