Jo did her best to understand the style we liked, and was very patient with us as we deliberated on the many decisions. (She was also always professional in dealing with commentary from my husband.) Jo spent a tremendous amount of time with us working through every detail, and was always available by text for input on even little decisions. > > Jo, along with Annie Orosz who helped with our project, are true design experts. They were invaluable in helping us through the endless selections from cabinets to flooring to tile: making sure there was variety but also that everything coordinated. There were countless times when they put in extra effort to make sure everything was perfect, e.g., when one supplier indicated that we’d need to have a seam in our kitchen island, they called around and found a supplier who had a piece large enough such that there wouldn’t be a seam. They purchase from a range of furniture suppliers at a variety of costs and provided input not only on design but also comfort. They also are experts on sizing — from room layout and furnishings to area rugs to the size of artwork on the walls. I first became acquainted with her when we were building our home. She helped us with flooring, tile, cabinetry, countertops, hardware, and lighting selections. We then used her services for designing each room in the house. She made the project seem less daunting for us by breaking it down into pieces, first starting with a color scheme based on a piece of our artwork, and from there we selected paint colors for each room, fabrics, furniture styles, and lastly window treatments and accessories. I love how the whole house flows together and how her knowledge and expertise reassured me that whatever we chose will look great in the end.
