We were impressed with his expertise and his artistic sense. He certainly has a deep understanding of kitchen ergonomics; my wife and I are passionate cooks, and the kitchen is both a joy to look at and to work in. Scott's designs, as realized by David Webster Construction, turned out beautifully. We could not be more pleased. During the design process, Scott gave generously of his time and really listened to our ideas. He was friendly, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. I cannot remember what particular flavor those slabs were. Depending on your access to stone fabricators and what is being quarried now (as this project is over 10 years old) you may well find a lovely selection. Soapstone is known for subtle variation and veining. This project exhibits a stronger version, more graphic. **Q: The Hardware is fab. Thank** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Hello Galovska! Yes, you are right- the entire wall and for that matter, the entire vertical mass is wood framing with drywall cladding. The fireplace was a Napolean brand, double sided natural gas unit set into the framing. The drywall was painted with pearlescent rag applied coats over a neutral base coat. **Q: I like the rug.
