> Our dated, dark kitchen needed more than just a refresh. It needed a complete rethink and new design. We had rough ideas and a few dreams...and when we met with Page it was instantly clear that she was the person to take all of that, mix it with her magic and bake us our perfect kitchen design. Her fresh, clean design aesthetic perfectly matched with how we were imagining the kitchen, and she had great ideas to address those problem areas every kitchen has-in our case, how to contain all of the essential morning coffee making mess into a very cool looking cabinet with folding doors. Love it! She is very responsive to a client’s needs, but if a course correction is necessary, she’ll guide you toward a more design appropriate solution. We found that really helpful, especially when we were making tile selections for our backsplash areas. Our entire experience with Page and 3Fold has been exciting, interesting and fun, and we are so very happy with the end result!

**Comment from 3 Fold Design Studio:**

> You are so kind. It was a fantastic experience working with you both and I couldn't be more happy at the outcome!

**★★★★★ — Blue Diamond Remodeling, May 2018**

> Page with 3 Fold Design Studio was wonderful to work with. She worked directly with our cabinet builder and the homeowner to finalize the complete project design. We were then able to take the design and execute it beautifully and it all turned out fantastic.
>
> One of the main highlights of working with Page was her follow up. Almost every interior designer we have worked with do not check in to see progress let alone the final results of the project. Page was the complete opposite and it was a breath of fresh air. She was also available for questions that we or the homeowner had.
>
> We will definitely be working with Page on future projects.

**Comment from 3 Fold Design Studio:**

> Thank you so much. We were so pleased with the outcome!

> We couldn't be happier with Page. We had a good idea about the design style that we wanted, but Page was the talent and patience to a beautiful end product. Page made our home feel completely stunning.

> Page has been an incredible asset to reviving my 1950's home. She's been with me from the beginning with design and layout of a new kitchen, and was always present when asked during construction to answer questions and consult on decisions. Because of the value of her insights, I chose to broaden my kitchen remodel into a project that touched every room. She was invaluable with paint and texture design for each room. She has simply wowed those who have seen the project in its completed state, and I cannot be more thrilled with her. She is cost-conscious, sustainable in her choices, and up-front with costs and billing. If I could give her 10 stars I certainly would!

> Page at 3 Fold Design Studio is great! She helped me pick the exterior colors for our house, the interior wall colors, window treatments, design my kitchen, choose tile and plumbing fixtures, bedding, rugs, etc and furnish indoor and outdoor furniture. She was also great with the final touches of lamps, shelf decorations and other stuff I'm really bad at.

> We first met her when we had a much smaller house and hired Laura Britt design (they are expensive) to help us. She was assigned to us and we loved her. A few years later when we moved from a 1,500 sq ft house to this 5,200 sq foot house we needed a lot of furniture. Thankfully we were able to hunt down Page and found she had opened her own design firm: http://www.3folddesignstudio.com/.
>
> She was great at incorporating/repurposing what we had with the new. She is hourly and very productive, prompt and creative.

**★★★★★ — rootsrealestate, Oct. 2015**

> Page perfectly implemented our vision, while honoring the original architecture and style of our mid century modern home. Her design eye is remarkable and her ability to execute with grace and precision is equally exceptional. Page is incredibly creative, knowledgeable, experienced, talented, professional and personable. She is also a great listener and her positive energy made our massive remodel a wonderful experience for our family.

**★★★★★ — Stacy, Jan. 2015**

> Page helped us with a recent master bathroom remodel. We completely changed the entire footprint of the room, adding a bathtub and a laundry room into the space which did not exist previous. She did an excellent job determining our needs and style and drawing up multiple options to meet those needs. She even redid some of the drawings when unforeseen cost made the original plan out of our budget range. She was prompt, responsive and professional. We hope to use her again for our kitchen remodel in a few years.

**★★★★★ — jgrobb, June 2014**

> A lot of designers seem to have a knack for adding a layer of difficulty to a project, but Page is the exact opposite. I am a general contractor and had multiple clients hire Page to help them through the remodel process. She is pleasant to work with, knowledgable, responsive and, in the end, she ultimately made my job easier. Building and remodeling is stressful so it's nice to have a key player in the process that makes everyone's life just a little easier. Page is that person. Highly recommend.

> I really enjoyed working with Page. She made choosing interior colors and materials a breeze. She was very knowledgeable and all of our materials were ordered and delivered when we needed them.

**★★★★★ — mcerim, Aug. 2013**

> We hired Page with 3 Fold Design Studio to design our kitchen and our 2 kids bedrooms and we couldn't be happier. For our kitchen she came up with a really open plan that all of our guests comment on and has made such an improvement in how we cook and utilize the kitchen on a daily basis. For our kids rooms, she was amazing. After talking with me, to get my thoughts and opinions, she sat down individually with both my kids (who were 6 and 7) and they got to have their own professional consultations, which made them feel so important and really involved in the process. The rooms turned out wonderfully and both the kids and I couldn't be happier. And to top it all off she came in under budget. Next up is the playroom and Page is the only one I am considering for the job.

**★★★★★ — tarylg, Aug. 2013**

> Page is extremely knowledgeable about her field, and is always a pleasure to work with. We have used her on several different projects. She listens very well and helps us with exactly what we're looking for. I highly recommend her!

**★★★★★ — Julie Hill, July 2013**

> Page is smart, quick, and very easy to work with. She designed a linen closet for our master bedroom in less than 30 minutes, and I am enjoying it now! Highly recommend!

  - Description: Our clients wanted to get away from the hustle of Houston and escape to the Hill Country. The primary design objectives were to create low-maintenance, open-space living areas that facilitated entertaining, and to simultaneously take advantage of the amazing views. Traditional Hill Country materials like limestone and rough hewn wood served as initial inspiration for the space, while concrete floors and contemporary fixtures and furnishings thread a modern theme throughout the house. - Description: The kitchen was an empty space when this project began. The design concept became clear as we determined exactly what our clients wanted from their new kitchen. The clients wanted a kitchen that functioned well for parties and family get-togethers, which also felt intimate for nights alone. The solution was to divide the kitchen into three zones by placing an island in the center of the space. In the first zone, a large counter surface gives the clients enough space on which to work together. Th…

  - Description: The owners of the Perry Lane Residence fell in love with the home, built in 1960, as much for the retro details and charm as for the open spaces and opportunities the house afforded their growing family of five. The living room and dining room were partially separated by a limestone statement fireplace with a variety of built-in accoutrements including a radio, bar cabinet, wood holder and electrical cabinet. A little updating kept the character of the original fireplace, but simplified the aest…

  - Description: Our clients wanted their first home to be a modern space that was both comfortable and pulled together, where coffee tables functioned as footrests, dining tables and work desks. The palette of the living room, rich chocolates and creamy beiges, was set by the sophisticated side chairs. A crisp ocean blue sofa pops against the neutral palette. Ivory walls extend the lines of the space. A high gloss stripe painted on the walls creates optical excitement, reflecting light at certain angles and dis…

  - Description: For their southwest Austin home, the client wanted a sophisticated space that was practical for their family, which includes two children and a dog. The inspiration for the palette was the muted grays, sages and creams found in the fantastic antique rug. Custom furniture and cabinetry brings richness to the neutral colors. The whitewashed quarter-sawn oak cabinets hide the stereo and a practical fold-down bar. The design for the dining room was based around the circular chandelier. The oil rubbe…

## Community Q&A

**Q: Do you mix the flooring - concrete to hardwood?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hi! I truly love your style!! I love the mix of styles and the ease of how it flows beautifully. From the pictures it looks like you have polished concrete as well as hardwoods. Is it ok to do both? I am building a small farmhouse 2000 sq.ft. with a touch of modern. Thanks!

A: You can definitely mix wood and poured concrete, but if they are on the same floor, the slab will just need to be dropped to accomodate the height of the wood flooring so you have seamless transitions. It works better if, as in the case with this project, you have level changes with steps that you can use to transition to wood floors.

**Q: How do you get that floor colour and finish?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Really love the floor colour. Looking to learn what product, colour and finish was used to get that look?

A: The best thing to do would be to show this to your contractor or flooring installer and ask how best to replicate it. The product is just poured concrete with no additional pigments.

**Q: paint color of walls** *(in Photo Questions)*

The description said "Grey". What is the paint color of the walls?

A: Sherwin Williams 7043 Worldly Gray

**Q: Wall color, please?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Looks great!

A: Snowbound by Sherwin Williams

**Q: Stunning Kitchen!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Would you mind sharing the type and manufacturer of the windows in the computer nook? Thanks!

A: The builder sourced those so unfortunately I don’t have that information.

**Q: what material is the countertop?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hi, would you please tell me the name of the countertop material? Thanks in advance. I love this kitchen!

A: It is Cesarstone Pure White.
