There were only two rooms left from the original house by the time they were done with demolition. They integrated modern parts into the older structure. The contractor was given a real challenging job of building on top of a much older house. The process took a lot longer then we thought it would take, We thought it would be done in a year, but it ended up taking 2 years. A lot had to do with the fact that so much had to be taken down in order to do the fitting of the new design.
