> Professional, reliable, passionate, knowledgeable, creative, innovative, resourceful... There aren't enough adjectives to describe Indrani @ Style-Bites. She helped me build a kitchen from the ground up. My kitchen was nothing more than four walls and a window when I first introduced her to my project. Now, it is a wine enthusiasts dream and a chef's paradise. Indrani asked my wife and I to describe our dream kitchen. She turned that dream in to a reality.
> The kitchen is considerably small. Her cabinet design made the best use of all available space, makes the kitchen feel open and is completely functional. She was even able to implement a wine rack and wine refrigerator for my wife without losing any cabinet space. Indrani frequently met with us to collaborate on style, functionality and most importantly budget. Whatever it is that you want, whatever it is that you need.. consider it done. Her passion compels her. She not only helped design our kitchen, she took care of the grunt work as well. All rough electrical, plumbing, custom cabinetry and granite fabrication was done by her crew. A very friendly, professional and knowledgeable workforce. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail is second to none. Indrani would keep in contact daily to ensure quality and satisfaction.
> As far as pricing, Indrani and her crew was able to outbid every other designer or contractor that gave an estimate.
> Because of Indrani's vision, passion, communication, collaboration and fair prices, I strongly recommend Style-Bites to anybody looking to style, redesign or remodel their outdoor or living space.

> Indrani did almost a total remodel on my new townhome. We told her to make us love it. She went above and beyond our expectations. It looks beautiful! She remodeled bathrooms, knocked down walls, new granite, paint entire house, and she used a lot of furniture and accesaries that we already had. Her attention to detail was amazing!

> Indrani has been a pleasure to work with on several projects. She is extremely professional and very detail oriented. I have referred her to numerous of my clients looking for an interior designer as her work ethic is what I would want for myself when designing a room.

> I can't tell you how excited I am to finally have a plan for making my home our own! Indrani really understood my vision and I could have never never never put this all together on my own. The whole idea of decorating the home has changed from an overwhelming and frustrating notion to a well-planned project where the only part left is where to have fun and begin relaxing in my own haven. She is great with color coordination, arranging items to look great, and just bringing the ambiance of whatever suits your personality into each individual space of your home. I just loved working with Indrani and can't wait to get started on the next project!

> Style Bites did an execellent job managing the entire remodel process from beginning to end. They really do a good job of working with the client to understand what style and look they are going for and then take take it to the next level when creating the design plan. The will always keep your budget in mind in order to achieve the desired look at an afforable price. Lastly the do a great job managing any contract work to ensure no details are missed while always keeping the customer updated on progress and any potential changes. Style Bites did an amaing job with our master bath remodel and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a design makeover in their home!

> Indrani did a wonderful job with my tiny space. I was worried that I wasn't able to commit a large sum of money to a project, but she was able to work within my budget and provide a board that completely revamped my space. By surfacing some good deals and showing me how I can create a cohesive look in my condo, I was able to transform my living space over a weekend well within my budget.

> With a budget close to nothing, confused about color scheme, wall accents & coordinating a space for 2 boys while creating a unique space for each was challenging. I seeked Indrani's help & immediately she created a plan. She was spontaneous & tweeked lil stuff in the room while maintaining the budget & provided options that met our needs. As I live up north, she expedited everything via emails & pictures. She is multi-talented, has an amazing personality - she is definitely one to contact!! Highly recommend and will be delighted to work with her again!!

> Style-bites met with me to gain further information about my ideas on the nursery for my baby. After meeting, I was presented with an original concept. Unfortunately, the original concept didn't work. Style-bites then presented a nursery fit for a fashion-forward chic princess. We were extremely impressed by the professionalism, vision, and flexibility that we experienced throughout the entire process. It felt great working with someone who had a genuine regard for her client's vision. I highly recommend Style-bites for your next design project.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Ideas for nightstand and art in bedroom?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hello, I’m looking for ideas for nightstands and maybe something to hang above the bed.

Right now the nightstands are too low compared to the Californian King size bed (cherry color I think). I’m not planning to replace the bed and the dresser.
I’m not sure what to put on the wall behind the bed: art? light fixture (not my first choice because we already have recessed lighting)? wallpaper? nothing?
I like purple, it’s the color theme in the adjacent bathroom.

Thank you for your suggestions!

A: Hi there! Check out local retailers to find end tables. Target, Overstock are great resources as well. Prior to shopping, measure the desired height, so you know what to look for.
On the wall I would suggest wallpaper, stencil or art to add interest to the feature wall. It will add so much to your space!

**Q: Need help designing my living room!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

So I finally have my old Living room set gone and I'm looking to get an ikea set. I have a black/brown tv stand in the room already and it's kinda stuck on that wall due to the tv outlet. I have a high ceiling in my apartment and lots of sun light enters during the day so it's nice and bright. My carpet is sandy beige and walls are some sort of a light ivory shade --can't change the paint color.
It's a nice big -almost square- room however I have the sliding door on one wall and a the bedroom door near the other in the area separating the living room from the dining room area.

I was considering getting a grey sofa similar to the Stockholm dark grey sofa or maybe the karlstad light grey sofa. Maybe get a sofa and two accent chairs with funky cushions bs a nice rug. Please advice me on what you think might look good in this room. I had a brown sofa and a green/brown damask chair before so I'm trying to stay away from those colors, I need something fresh.

If you think I should get the light grey karlstad IKEA sofa with the ( beige legs), do you think it will look okay with the black/brown tv stand??? Or should I stick with something like the Stockholm sofa with dark legs to match the tv stand. Also having to like grey, what kind of table and side tables do you think would match any of these sets.

Your advice is appreciated :-)

Thank you so much!!

A: HI there! Okay, first of all, you do not need to worry about matching woods. Doing so can actually date a room. I think gray is a great option for this space. Any of those couches would work. I would test them out to see the comfort level.
Adding a fun rug would add a ton to this room. Accent pillows and accessories in pops of color will complete your look! Check out my portfolio to see how I paired my gray couch. I create inspiration boards for clients that are DIY to keep them on track!

**Q: Should I paint the bathroom window black** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I have just renovated the bathroom in my house and was thinking it might look better with a black window frame

A: I say do it! I just remodeled a bathroom and used black base boards and casing as well as black floors. Check out my portfolio under Regency Master Bath.
It would add dimension in your space! If not, then paint the walls a warm neutral, like a gray to add interest to your space.
Much love.

**Q: Off white cabinets with Carrara marble cabinets?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Need advice, would off white cabinets work with Carrara marble? The color is not cream, it is just very slightly warm. Our floors are oak. We are planning to refinish them but not stain.

A: I would do a gray cabinet to highlight and contrast the marble. Or white. Best of luck!

**Q: Kitchen back, splash** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We have white cabinets with green butterfly granite. And travertine floors. We wood like to add tiles for a back splash. Would glass tile be too busy? What do you recommend ?

A: Do you have pictures of the kitchen? Take pics of the kitchen with you when shopping and bring home samples. I would stick with the same family in color, or a neutral to have the focus on the granite. Ensure you stay with the flow of the room.

**Q: Where did you buy the frames?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The prints and frames were custom from Etsy
