**★★★★★ — Michaela McLaughlin, Dec. 2018**

> Tony has been a pleasure to work with. He is very responsive, got the work done in our bathroom at a reasonable time and price! We will work with him again!!!

**★★★★★ — Jeanne Smith, Oct. 2018**

> We love our new kitchen and I would recommend Todd Uminsky and our project site manager Steve Wass to anyone. We were on time and on budget, communication was fast and easy throughout and all of the work was done beautifully. Steve was really concerned about getting things done right and extremely responsive to any questions or problems we had, and was a pleasure to work with. Thanks so much!

**★★★★★ — HU-310078070, Oct. 2018**

> Entire crew was courteous and professional the entire length of the project, always keeping us up to date on timelines, unexpected cost changes, when subcontractors would arrive, etc. Work was top notch.

**★★★★★ — Steve Glovsky, May 2018**

> Extremely professional in every detail. Look no further! I had all but given up hope of finding a contractor to do a modest structural improvement to my house (extending an existing half-floor above my car bays). Out of a large number of contractors listed on various web sites, One Source was the only company I found that has everything in place: reasonable and intelligent estimate of costs and reliable and consistent change orders as requested or required; legal details (all licenses and insurance certificates in the right names and immediately available and a legitimate and fair contract); subcontractors (ready and available to come, return and meet reasonable schedules); construction knowledge (made key suggestions to improve the final result with obvious understanding of the project's needs for a phased home improvement); online invoicing and payment; and timely securing of permits and inspections. I am an extremely demanding customer, and One Source Construction provided as close to a perfect construction experience as I could expect. Moreover, they are nice people to work with. They will be my only call when I'm ready for this project's next phase!

**★★★★★ — Donald Cassano, Jan. 2018**

> I have referred Once Source on various occasions and their work and professionalism is outstanding. Great workmanship, very responsive to client needs. Solid General Contractor for residential applications

## Community Q&A

**Q: Spruce up exterior of stone house** *(in Home Decorating)*

Looking for any help on sprucing up the exterior of this home. Anyone have any ideas? We’re not opposed to painting the stone if that would look better.

A: Paint it and add some taller landscape

**Q: What to do eith weird space between stairs and wall??** *(in Home Decorating)*

Help! What can I do to make the gap between stairs and wall less noticeable? thanks!!

A: build a closet .there's never enough closet space

**Q: Random wall causing problems** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We have two walls that we wanted to come down to expand kitchen and to have an open floor plan. Unfortunately one wall is load bearing and we have three different ceiling heights in our main room so it is too expensive to remove second wall and have two columns and a beam. Any ideas on how to make this wall work into a open concept kitchen? I was wondering if this would work?

A: you can open the wall and leave a soffit ceiling

**Q: What would you put over this 3-sided fireplace?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

3-sided fireplace in middle of room of 1960s ranch in Florida. in the process of redecorating with a coastal feel and need some advice on which side(s) to place art on fireplace And what a good piece would be. (Second photo gives room view before it was painted BM white dove.) And, if there's suggestions for art over couch, I'd welcome that, too!

thank you.

A: I would tile around the fire place with real stone or she tile

**Q: What color should we paint the exterior of our home?** *(in Landscape Design)*

My husband and I just bought this house to fix up (we will live in it within 2-3 months). The outside needs a good coat of paint or two! We don’t agree. One of us loves the brick and wants just to paint the stucco and trim a different color and add new shutters. One of us wants to paint the whole thing (including the brick) a slate blue/grey, lose the shutters, and paint the trim white. Either way, we’re replacing the door and the step. We’re open to all options. Neither of us has a great eye for these things and we want to make a choice that looks clean and fresh, not dated. we appreciate any advice or opinions.

A: light grey white trim

**Q: Shower Niche Help** *(in Building a Home)*

We recently built a new house and in our master bathroom we added a single niche on the wall of our shower. We are now regretting only doing a single instead of making it a double with a shelf splitting it into 2. Is there anyway now that we could add that shelf??

A: Giving solutions are what we are about
