**★★★★★ — Gordon F, Nov. 2018**

> We installed Infinity Drain linear drains last year for a seamless look for the open shower in our newly-remodeled bathroom. (See photo.) Upon unpacking, it's obvious that the grates are of the highest quality. The installtion kit is complete and the documentation thorough and easy to follow. Installed, they look and work great (or should I say "grate?").
>
> When we pulled the grates a year later for cleaning, we discovered that the channel had narrowed a bit, making the grates hard to remove. This was not the fault of the drain; we probably packed the channel too tightly when we set it in. We called Infinity Drain and they asked us to ship the grates to them and they would see what they could do to narrow them a bit. Well, we just got them back and they're perfect, and they didn't even charge us. Now THAT is exceptional customer support!
>
> Superior product; great support. What more could you ask for? If you're in the market for linear drains, these are the ones you want.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Size?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I was wondering.... what is the dimensions of that shower and tub combo

A: Hi Mikey- Thanks for reaching out. We don't have the exact measurements available, but it looks like it's around 84"x84" give or take.

**Q: drain cover** *(in Photo Questions)*

Does design of drain cover effect how fast water drains? Is there a difference in foot comfort of one cover vs. another. We are having one installed in a walk-in shower but don't know placement yet. Thanks for your input.

A: Hi Lynda. Thanks for your question. It's more important to nail down placement and whether you would like to do a curbless zero-threshold shower. For a zero-threshold where the drain is placed along the entrance to the shower enclosure, we do not recommend linear drains with a tile-in cover or any of our models narrower than 65mm wide (38 and 25 Series e.g.: S-AG 38 or FFAS 25). All flow rates are listed on our website on the product pages. As for foot comfort, the grate styles are equal in comfort level. Please feel free to contact us directly at 516-767-6786 to discuss your specific installation.

**Q: love the tile. What kind is it? and where can I find it?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi- This was a picture sent to us by a homeowner, so unfortunately, we don't know the exact type of tile.

**Q: Love the look! Are the tiles set wider than usual? Who makes these tiles?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi- This is standard penny tile purchased from Nemo Tile in NYC.

**Q: what is the benefit of a linear drain? is it more difficult to install?** *(in Photo Questions)*

what is the benefit of a linear drain? is it more difficult to install?

A: Infinity Drain's Tile Drain features a 4" throat that remedies the air lock problem. The complete kit comes with the clamping drain body connecting to either a 2" or 3" waste line. Tile Drain models come in a 5" square (TD 15) or 8" square (TD 20). Both are available in a standard clamping drain installation (TD Series) or a bonded flange installation to be used with liquid membrane or fabric waterproofing (TDB Series).
