> My husband suggested that I consult with a professional decorator when we were in the process of buying a new home. What a brilliant move! Evelyn Assi's vision has made my home look better than any model! She knows how to select just the right paint colors and exactly where to place them on the walls. She called out small changes - like a few decorative tiles worked into the fireplace surround or changing the color of a mantel - that made something standard into something unique and beautiful. We went shopping together and Evelyn chose gorgeous, rich-looking fabrics for my custom draperies, room-by-room. She showed me how to shop for accent pieces at discount stores that looked expensive in my home. Another day we shopped for furnishings where Evelyn led me to select reasonably-priced pieces that look beautiful and expensive and fit perfectly into my Tuscan, Old World decor.  Evelyn knew where to place all of the furniture, and made small changes like custom accent pillows with a coordinating ottoman that created a space of beauty and tranquility for me to enjoy. On top of all that, Evelyn is a beautiful, kind person who listens to your needs and makes you feel special and confident that you can continue on in the future without her.  I learned so much from the time I spent with Evelyn that I have been able to continue to decorate my home on my own for the past 12 years with a feeling that "Evelyn would approve."
