He came home at the appointed time with his laptop, albums and sample of materials. He listened to our inputs and our budget, and recommended a vinyl deck. He then started working on his laptop right there and produced the first draft of the deck. We made further adjustments till all of us were satisfied. We then proceeded with selecting the color of the deck and other details like railings. Now that the deck is completed, I would like to say that my whole family is extremely happy with the final results. > > Dave used the best material for the deck. For example, he used all steel nails. The railing posts were H-beam (I hope I am using correct term), which made the railings very sturdy. They do not bend or break even when a heavy person like me was leaning hard against them. Dave left thin vents underneath the deck, so the rain water can evaporate, and also keep the critters from entering the underside of the deck. The list goes on. > > Dave was very thorough in his work. When he found out that the deck will be used by my old parents (mother on wheelchair), he immediately suggested to put handrails along the stairs, and a custom ramp for my mother's wheel chair so she can get to the deck from house without any problems. Using AZEK Vinyl Decking & Superior Vinyl Railings. We also installed Post Lighting so the customer could enjoy his deck longer into the night time. We use all stainless steel nails & screws to build all of our structures. This insures me that we've use the best available fasteners to build with, eliminating any future issues that do arise using only galvenized plated fasteners. The H-beam customer is talking about is the rail supports under the vinyl sleeves. We use a aluminum/stainless steel adjustable post mount. Again this product is the best for the application and will not fail over time like a standard wood post can. All in all we use the best of the best to build our decks. Its not worth it for me to cut corners on a maintenance free deck. When I advertise that our decks are truely maintenance free, I mean it! > All my reviews are from previous customers that we built decks for, check out the year we did their deck.
