Based on the scope of the renovation, they came up with some beautiful, creative and functional ideas for our family. When we started the process, we explained that we didn't want to take away the rustic feel of our home and since our main floor is open concept, we wanted to ensure that it flowed with our living and dining room space. They helped us achieve this beyond anything we could have imagined. We had our ideabooks and must-haves and they utilized them in the space effectively. I think the hardest part of this project was fusing my taste and my husbands since they are on two different sides of the spectrum. The result was amazing! Alessia and Sarah went above and beyond for us. They worked in our budget and if one of us liked something and the other didn't they would return with more options with no complaints at all. I would work with them over and over again in a heartbeat! Alessia and Sarah, who run the firm and are the principle designers, are very talented and energetic. Though my wife and I had only vague ideas of what we wanted for design, Alessia and Sarah listened to our ideas and educated us on both what was possible and what was practical. They came to client meetings with a portfolio of great ideas - utilizing concept boards, real samples (tiles, hardwood floors, etc.) and pictures they had acquired from catalogs of top notch vendors. They also worked directly with our architect, kitchen designer and general contractor. They came to our project site when it was little more than tarps, 2x4 frames and subfloors - in the winter with no heat - rolled up their sleeves, took measurements, applied paint swatches, did trim mock ups - whatever it took to make sure we were comfortable with the design direction. We have since used reDesign home for exterior color schemes and plan to solicit their help for furniture selections.
