**Q: Wood Flooring** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with River Ridge engineered hardwoods (specifically RRGU249)?  My contractor said this is a good brand but I would love advice before using it.

A: It depends on the traffic level in the area you choose to install the wood; what area and traffic level? It is a good brand, but may not be the proper hardness (Janka) rating for the area.

**Q: What to do!!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I have a small bathroom & want to change it  & make it more useful & modern... To the left in front of vanity there's an old mirrored medicine cabinet. What would make it look larger

A: If your plans are a resale and you may need this tub for the future. If not, pull the tub and we can install a walk-in shower. the vanity cabinet can go away and replaced with a wallmounted or pedestal sink. Wood Cabinetry above the commode will create more practical floor space utilization.

**Q: Need help to renovate my kitchen** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I am on dilemma what color and what style will fit my narrow type kitchen.  It is 8,25" x 11, 5".  I like the wood charlcoal or cherry color but not sure if it is good for my small kitchen.

A: You would likely be headed the proper direction with a warmer painted style with a subtle glaze to give the cabinets more depth. Charcoal will bring the mood down in tight quarters. You will have more versatility in choosing a more expressive tile in an elongated tile offset pattern as well. Lighting on the top the cabinets will give more depth to the limited area. The lighting selection you will make should tie into your cabinet hardware and if need be, the faucet hardware, you have some work; but it is workable!
