E. Chappell Builders, LLC over twenty eight years ago. We are residential contractors that specialize in high end custom homes and renovations. We are a small family owned and operated company. We have five full time permanent employees. Our superintendent has been with us for around twenty years. Our project coordinator grew up with the company and after college began working for the company full time. He has been with us for eleven years. Our lead carpenter has been with us for nine years as well. On each job we have a working superintendent that remains on that job from start to finish and is assisted by several lead carpenters and laborers. Roy, the owner, is extremely hands on from start to finish on all of our projects. We also have a project manager that will assist with ordering materials and scheduling subcontractors. The project manager or Roy (Owner) visits the job site daily. The project manager and Roy create the job schedule as the project evolves due to changes in the work, weather and material delays. The homeowner and Roy each also work with the schedule. All of our subcontractors have worked for us for many years, because of this we can work as a coordinated team and not as individuals. We work extremely close with the client and architect to ensure each client's individual needs are met. We also have numerous architects to call for plans or input if needed. We do not have a certified designer on staff. However, we have been building custom homes for over twenty seven years and do offer our expertise and opinions on designs and modifications. We do also work well with interior designers. Problems arose almost constantly due to weather, building plans not quite right, huge boulders in the way etc. NEVER did Roy Chappell, owner of Chappell Builders, say he couldn't fix/solve the problem. He truly has a "sure, we can do that" attitude. In fact he has built his business into a premium home builders business by figuring out how to give the customer what they want with a competent, professional, talented crew who keep a very clean job site.. He is a smart and experienced builder and always available, even 12 years after building our home.
