I would definitely hire her again without reservation. **Comment from Silvana Sawaya Architect:** > Thank you Deborah. Hoping to work with you again in the near future. **★★★★★ — Anne Early, Feb. 2018** > I worked with Silvana on a kitchen addition and renovation on a very unusual home. The original 1780 farmhouse had been owned by artists for 30 years. They turned the old farmhouse into a work of art with surprise and whimsy. The kitchen was in a part of the house salvaged from a nearby college. It was attached to the original farmhouse. Needless to say there were many design challenges to work through. Silvana designed the new kitchen to perfection. She talked with me extensively about what I wanted and my use of the space as well as working with design features already in place. She works with precision, patience, limitless ideas, and a beautiful sense of balance in her designs. She is thorough and completely professional. It was a joy to work with her and the final product is perfect. I would change nothing. **Comment from Silvana Sawaya Architect:** > Thank you Anne. I love your kitchen as well, and how it opened to the outside views of fields and the lake. **★★★★★ — User, July 2016** > Silvana is wonderful to work with. She listens well and her work reflects her architectural vision and our family needs for a functional, beautiful home. **Comment from Silvana Sawaya Architect:** > Thank you Donna. It has been a while but I always remember fondly how we didn't leave any problem of the house unfixed. ## Selected projects - [Washington St](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/washington-st-pj-vj~1816342) - Location: Newton, MA - Photos: 8 - [Winter St](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/winter-st-pj-vj~1816291) - Location: Lincoln, MA - Photos: 4 - Description: New construction completed in 2001. - [Clark St - Brookline](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/clark-st-brookline-pj-vj~5986476) - Location: Brookline, MA - Photos: 3 - [Evermore Kitchen](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/evermore-kitchen-pj-vj~5986481) - Location: King Ferry, NY - Photos: 4 - [Kent Street Brookline](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/kent-street-brookline-pj-vj~5872170) - Location: Brookline, MA - Photos: 9 - [Page Farm Road](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/page-farm-road-pj-vj~5986466) - Location: Lincoln, MA - Photos: 8 - [Clark St - Bay](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/clark-st-bay-pj-vj~5986460) - Location: Brookline, MA - Photos: 1 - [Pleasant Street](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/pleasant-street-pj-vj~5980838) - Location: Cambridge, MA - Photos: 5 - [Donnel St](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/donnel-st-pj-vj~1816318) - Location: Cambridge, MA - Photos: 4 - [Lexington](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/lexington-pj-vj~1816270) - Location: Cambridge, MA - Photos: 5 - [Eliot St](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/eliot-st-pj-vj~6036935) - Location: Boston, MA - Photos: 2 [See all 11 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/architects-and-building-designers/silvana-sawaya-architect-pfvwus-pf~815709003) ## Community Q&A **Q: Looking for Craftsman colors** *(in Photo Questions)* I love the paint colors.
