With a deep appreciation for beautifully designed homes, I was eager to begin this process and create my dream home. There was only one hitch - I had no idea where to start. I lacked the knowledge on how to elegantly utilize a smaller space and more importantly, how to budget for it. Lucky for me - my real estate agent recommended Sue-Anne and from then on, I was in good hands. She skillfully mitigated what could have been a stressful process. > Sue-Anne’s reputation preceded her and she did not disappoint. Not only did she help me achieve my dream home aesthetic, she was able to do this at a practical price. > I trusted her instincts and granted her free reign when it came to executing major creative design decisions. > As part of our initial discussions, we agreed on a multi-tiered approach with my budget in mind. First, we renovated the (dark and outdated) bathroom, replaced the floors, and purchased essential furniture. The next tier included more furniture in the guest room and other parts of the condo (curtains, blinds, lamps, etc). She implemented fixtures and lights that elevated the space and created a luxurious atmosphere. The last tier focused on replacing the kitchen countertop, adding a barn door, and upgrading the patio. > This major revamp required choosing the right furniture, finding the right contractors, choosing tiles and hardware, and coordinating the work with them. Working full time doing all of that alone would have been very time consuming, and I highly appreciate Sue-Anne’s time owning that. > The overall end result is great. My friends and family love coming over, and I love and feel proud hosting them at my new place. > Sue-Anne is like family to me at this point. She is such a genuine and comfortable person to be around. She is incredibly knowledgeable and resourceful, and yet never made me feel inferior in regards to my questions, budget, or suggestions. She did a wonderful job at understanding what I was looking for in a home and executed it beautifully. I feel grateful to have her on my team and would not have been able to do this without her. > Sue-Anne is currently based in San Francisco and was always available to come whenever needed. She offers different design hour packages that accommodate specific needs, budget, and degree of desire to be actively involved in the process you may have. I am using her for everything from interior design to patio furniture, to weighing in on landscaping. > Once we finish the last phase of the remodel, I'll update this review with more pictures of the before and after, but for now, please take a look at the results so far. **Comment from Wilkinson Brochier Interior Design:** > Idan, I am so deeply touched by your very thoughtful review. Thank you - you have made my day, my year! > > Ultimately, the reason I love my job is being able to help clients like you create a home they enjoy every day, so your comments on how "you love and feel proud having family and friends over" makes me so very happy! > > I also deeply appreciate you as a client. It is a big leap of faith when you invite a designer to help with your home and I sincerely thank you for entrusting me with our design choices and budget decisions. > > Like any relationship, mutual collaboration, trust and respect between designer and client is essential. My sincere thank you for yours - as I cannot do my job without an equally great client! > > It yields the best design results with the happy bonus of new friendships that indeed feel like family! I am so honored and humbled by your comments. > > I look forward to completing your home and garden terrace and getting it professionally photographed - it will be so beautiful! > > With gratitude, > > Sue-Anne Wilkinson **★★★★★ — Kaitlin, March 2021** > Sue-Anne is the most creative, diligent, and thoughtful designer I've engaged with. Her work always takes her clients needs and desires into account - from budget to decor to execution. She has an impressive range in her resume, including corporate and individual clients. Her timeless choices also mean that she brings a sophistication and elegance to every job. **Comment from Wilkinson Brochier Interior Design:** > Thank you Kaitlin for your very thoughtful recommendation. You and your family are a joy to work with! And I love how I get to work on both your east and west coast houses. Thank you so much. **★★★★★ — Wilson Lee, June 2018** > Without Sue Anne, we could not have envisioned how our living room could be transformed into the beautiful and welcoming space it has become. Now, it is our favorite room that we retreat to relax, read and entertain. > Also, not to be overlooked is the stunning entry area that Sue Anne designed. She beautifully wove together the different design elements and created a visual masterpiece. > Sue Anne is a designer who put her heart and soul into her work and strived her utmost to ensure that she met our expectations. And with Sue Anne, no detail was overlooked or not thought through. As best as she could, Sue Anne also gave us options so that we could keep with the budget. > Sue Anne was a joy to work with and her work impeccable! **Comment from Wilkinson Brochier Interior Design:** > Thank you so much May for the opportunity to work with you and for taking the time to write this special review! Your home has such great space and architectural bones, it was wonderful to open it up to the light and transform it with lovely new finishes and furniture. And with a whole new layout, see you reclaim your living room into one you can truly enjoy; either quietly chilling or entertaining friends and family in. That's the best part of being a designer - seeing my clients happy! Can't wait to photograph it soon! **★★★★★ — Phyllis Dobbs, June 2018** > We hired Sue Anne Wilkinson to design our new home. We could not have been more pleased with the level of attentiveness. Sue Anne has excellent taste in furnishings and accessories and is adept at blending styles to create a truly unique space that will fit your lifestyle. Everyone who sees our home is amazed at how she was able to turn empty rooms into such a sophisticated, but comfortable, home. **Comment from Wilkinson Brochier Interior Design:** > Thank you so much Phyllis for your lovely comments! I have so enjoyed working with you and Gary! It has been so much fun and I've loved seeing how much you both enjoy each new space we complete. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to work with you and for your trust in me. You have always been up for pushing the boundaries and that's the reason we have been able to make your home so special! Behind every great design there is an equally great client! **★★★★★ — Quynh Vu, June 2018** > We highly recommend Wilkinson Brochier Interior Design. Not only do Sue-Anne and Ladan have a great eye for design, whether it's classical or current trends, but they are able to listen and respond to their clients' wishes; weaving in our personal style preferences to produce that we love and enjoy every day. > > They solved our design challenges with a strong guiding hand and they identified opportunities to make our new kitchen-family room shine throughout the design and construction process. > > They were also very accommodating to our deadlines (first baby on the way) and to our budget (as unexpected construction expenses came up). > > We also really appreciated their great communication and follow-up through the whole project! ## Selected projects - [NEW DUPLEX INTERIORS](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/new-duplex-interiors-pj-vj~3216092) - Location: San Francisco, CA - Photos: 12 - Description: A new build duplex home was a little too sterile for our clients. Would you please let me know which color did you use on the wall? A: Thank you! It is one of my favorite whites - Benjamin Moore's Simply White. **Q: Sofa out of stock?** *(in Product Questions)* Do you anticipate getting this sofa back in stock (Modern Living Room Sectional With Extra Wide Chaise) in the Grey velvet Fabric? If so, would an additional ottoman be available to purchase? Thank you for your response. A: What are dimensions please? **Q: Pros and cons of rain showers** *(in Design Dilemma)* We are re-doing Master bath and have only a shower (no tub). The shower is the size of my old existing tub which has now been removed. I want a very contemporary look and am thinking of a square or rectangular rain shower but can I still get a strong shower or are rain showers only gentle spraying of water. (i.e. I like heavy rain!!) Never had one before. Thanks in advance for advice. A: Like you I always coveted a rain head shower, so dramatic and visually cool. That is until I installed one and realized that it is fabulous if you have time to indulge in it everyday and not to worry about getting your hair wet and having to dry it. Fortunately, we installed both a rain and a normal shower head as we had the space to do both. But what I found is my husband used the rain shower head and I used the other on the daily. It sounds like you too could probably install both or at least a hand held shower head to give you daily lifestyle options. **Q: how do I change the name of my ideabook?** *(in Using Houzz)* how do I change the name of my ideabook? A: I do not have "edit idea book" either. --- *Source: Houzz professional profile. Reflects the profile as of 2026-10-09.*
