**★★★★★ — Bev, Dec. 2013**

> I hired mathis-ewing architecture to provide a design of a project my team and I were assigned to execute as part of a 3-month arts leadership institute. They assessed an old, existing building used as a dance/music venue, and gave us a practical, functional and innovative plan as a re-model. The owners of the building were so impressed with the design, they want to meet with the firm to discuss moving forward with the project.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Table dimensions** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you give me the dimensions of your dining room table? I'm looking to do something similar! Thank you!!!

A: The table was already owned by the owners and the space was designed to accommodate it. It is 3'x12' according to old notes.

**Q: What all did you do to get the wall by the door that way. What type?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This wall was an existing wall. We are fairly sure that it is vertical tongue and groove boards painted.

**Q: I love the artwork over the fireplace. Who is the artist?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Artist for piece over the fireplace - John "Cornbread" Anderson, Pensacola, FL - thanks for your interest

**Q: How does one prepare a meal without counterspace?** *(in Photo Questions)*

No counter space and tiny island, may work for heating a TV dinner for one, but how to serve a family or guests?

A: This project in fact has two work stations; one mainly for baking etc.; the other for main cooking and interacting with guests. See all of the photos.

**Q: Where was the table purchases?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: table was already owned by the clients and I do not have the purchase information
