> We loved working with Beth and highly recommend her for custom soft goods. We've hired her for several jobs and have been thrilled with the results every time. She helped with custom cushions for our landry area, comforter and pillows for primary bedroom and custom shades for the basement and living room areas. All of her work is high quality and made to perfection. Besides her amazing skill, Beth has a wonderful, relaxed personality that makes the whole experience a pleasure. We love her work and highly recommend her!

> We installed drapes on two large picture windows in the living room and on two large slider doors in our family room.

> I found out about Beth through my decorator, Carla Gennero & I am so glad Carla recommended her. My new home required window treatments throughout, including shades, plantation shutters & drapes. It was a large project & that can be challenging. Beth was a delight to work with & extremely professional. She worked with me to stay within my budget, helped me make good selections, & had excellent installers for the project. I recommend Beth very highly.

**★★★★★ — Pat Cox, June 2018**

> Beth came to our home and after asking questions to determine our objectives with redecorating, she measured and explained our options for window coverings. We selected shutters and she took care of everything from ordering to scheduling her amazing installer! I would definitely give her company a five star rating and not only would refer her to everyone, but would use her again in a heartbeat!

**★★★★★ — Denise Prewitt, April 2018**

> Beth was a pleasure to work with. She went our of her way to track down the perfect fabric for our curtains, and was meticulous in making sure all of the window treatments fit correctly and hung straight - a challenge in our 80-year old home. I highly recommend her and would absolutely work with her again. We love our new shades and curtains!

**★★★★★ — Elise Luter, Nov. 2017**

> We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Beth! She has an excellent eye for design and she is always willing to help out in a every situation, in a moments notice. Her attention to detail is top notch and her knowledge of products and solutions for your window treatments is expansive. I would hire Beth with absolute confidence to do my window treatments and other projects!

**★★★★★ — amay05, Nov. 2017**

> We initially used Beth to help us replace window treatments in our newly remodeled kitchen and master bathroom. We met with several professionals and were impressed with Beth's knowledge and price. We were so pleased with the results we ended up using Beth to replace almost all of the rest of the window treatments in our house. She also did a wonderful job helping us come up with a solution for a half circle window so that it matched the existing plantation shutters in one room. Once decisions were made, orders were placed promptly and received and installed very quickly. We couldn't be happier with the results!

**★★★★★ — Cline11163, Jan. 2017**

> Our walkout basement is one big open space -- perfect for entertaining kids and adults. One whole side is ALL windows. One section is a theater area. We needed window coverings that would provide privacy but still let some natural light in BUT block light out in the theater area AND look cohesive to the rest of the decor -- a tall order to fill, I thought.
>
> First of all, Beth comes to the home -- very important because you want to see the fabrics against your walls and in your own lighting. She brought tons of samples but she was able to hone into what I wanted as far as style and function. Then she narrowed it down to a color palette and pattern. I mentioned I still had the old drapes for the patio doors. She looked at them and said the fabric was great and she can modify them to fit. Wow! She saved me some money by "recycling" them!
>
> There is also a built-in corner bench. Even though I wasn't thinking of cushions at the time she mentioned she can provide them as well. I went ahead and ordered those in an amazing fun pattern. During installation, she noticed the cushion was off just a tad. She immediately took it back to get it fixed. (I didn't even see it.)
>
> My home office has glass french doors. Beth also noticed I had a makeshift curtain on the door to hide my messy piles of stuff. She suggested a pretty fabric --- sheer with a subtle pattern. Again, even though I wasn't hinking about it, she was able to offer a great solution.
>
> Beth is a pleasure to work with. She really listens to what you want which makes fabric selection easy. Installation was timely and her attention to detail is amazing. I highly recommend Beth!
>
> (Unfortunately, I don't have any great photos of the projects. Hopefully, Beth has some to to share.)

## Community Q&A

**Q: POLL: Do window treatments have to match?** *(in Polls)*

When you are installing window treatments in the same room or even in rooms that are open to each other, do you make sure they all match?
VOTE and tell us about it in the comments!

A: I believe Fabrics should coordinate, in color and style, not necessarily match. When you coordinate fabrics in a room or adjoining rooms, it is important to use different patterns, such as, stripes with large prints or large prints with small prints. See examples below...

**Q: Living Room with windows on every wall – What should I do?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hello there,
I'm moving into a new apartment, and I didn't realize how odd the living room layout was until now (I've attached an image of the floor plan). Basically, it is a 10X14 room that is adjacent to the: front door, dining room, and a hallway back to the den/bathroom/bed room. Two of the walls have big windows, one of them has big plantation shutters that open up to the den, and the 4th wall isn't there because it is the dining room/hallway. The way that the attached floorpan image suggests to set up the living room is with a floating credenza, but I think that would be weird to walk in and see your room divided by a big TV in the middle of the room with cords running around.
So, I'm trying to figure out how I can/should layout the room with a TV, couch, coffee table, but running into the issue that any which way I move things, I'm blocking a window with my TV. Would love any input or help on how I can make this work. Thanks so much!

A: I agree with putting the TV where the shutters are. I think if you put the sofa floating on the opposite side it will really close your room in. The best thing to do is play with it when you move in.

**Q: Color choice for drapes** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I am making some drapes to layer over my Roman Shades. What color would coordinate the best with my leopard print shades?

A: I agree with a black or neutral tan. Add the tassel trim to the leading edge. Whatever color you use make sure it coordinates and/or repeated somewhere else in the room.

**Q: Window Treatment Help** *(in Design Dilemma)*

What should i do with these ?!

A: I agree with the other comments. Long panels from floor to ceiling will make those windows look so much taller! If you send me a picture looking straight on at the three windows, from floor to ceiling, I can draw the panels on there for you. I would add a rug to the center of the furniture grouping. Pick the rug first then the panel fabric. There are more options in fabric than rugs. The last thing you want to do is pick the paint to coordinate with the rug and panels. Again, there are a lot more choices in paint colors then the other 2.

**Q: More curtains advice needed!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

There's a mixed consensus amongst my family whether or not I should raise the rod above the arches. I can't picture it and wish I could photoshop them in to see if they'll look good. I'm driving my family crazy. I love the color (aubergine), just not sold on where to hang the rod.

A: Tiffany, I always like to raise the panels as high as you can go. it makes the windows look taller. Your last picture looks great! The height is perfect!

**Q: Looking for the right window treatment** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I would like suggestions on what style and color drapes would look good in my dining room.

A: I love the look of simple grommet panels. The fabric you chose with Revere-Pewter would be beautiful!
