The Hantel team was amazing. They were all a delight to work with. Everyone was respectful, courteous and very knowledgeable. No detail was missed...they even saved the door frame that had my kid's height measurements on it!! I found them on-line when searching for someone local. I liked they were a small family owned business and were members of all the important organizations involving this type of work. Set up the first meeting and that's all it took. Ed is a genius at what he does and everything was exactly as he stated it would be. His crews (which are employed by him and not outside contractors) were the only people in our house. They were very good with our two dogs as well! The only other people that came in were the HVAC and someone for staining the hardwood floors, but Ed's guys were there the entire time. > > When it came to designing all the materials, colors, and the overall look, Rebecca Robinson (his desinger) was excellent! They removed our tub and replaced it with a walk-in Schluter-Kerdi shower (with bench and handrails). The end result is similar to the updated shower in the July 2015 issue of This Old House. They also installed a new toilet and medicine cabinet. From the start we were impressed with their professional demeanor. Everyone in the company was always helpful and eager to provide us with a design that fit the character of our 1937 Tudor Cottage. The workmen were well qualified and willing to explain what they were doing at various stages of the project, It was evident that they took great pride in their work. The project was completed well ahead of the projected time and on budget. Unfortunately, that project was completed several years ago and we do not have records from that time period. I am attaching another photo that shows a closer look at the countertop. It is either a quartz that has been discontinued or it is an unusual granite. **Q: Faucet** *(in Photo Questions)* I see this is the Kohler artifact faucet, is it the 16" or the bigger 17" one?
