They have different tiers to fit different budget criteria that you may have. There were tons of check-ins along the way. As you may know, residential architects are difficult to find because the money is in commercial, but The team at Building 313 does a great job and they work remote. I live in NW Arkansas and I was able to email, have zoom type meetings with them and able to easily articulate needs. Not only did she design exactly what we wanted, but she did it against the odds. Our house has an odd design. It's built to a point in the front as is the roof and roof overhang. Hard to explain and I'm sure it's hard to visualize it. But because of the odd shape and design we didn't realize the roof pitch was different from one side to the other. What we wanted was to have the front deck which is also built to a point, removed and a new porch built squared. Basically bring the ends out even with the front point, again hard to visualize, and build a roof over it with Timber Frame bracing. Sounds easy enough and straight forward, until you find out your roof pitch is different from one side to the other. The timber frame made the difference in roof pitch stand out bad, real bad. I was ready to throw in the towel on the whole project and just rebuild the deck as is. But after sleeping on it and waving her magic wand around she came up with a plan. Genius! Megan listened to what we wanted and gave us exactly what we asked for even if it was a reach. The money I spent to have her design the project and provide prints for the job will save us thousands in the long run. The problems are solved ahead of time instead of while the job was in progress and the house torn apart and ending up with an odd mess for a front porch. Even if you don't think you need plans drawn out, don't risk it, hire someone with knowledge and vision. Hire Megan! **Comment from Building 313:** > Thank you so much for your kind words, Rod!
