**★★★★★ — Becky Campbell, Feb. 2026**

> Elizabeth was a delight to work with, and we are extremely pleased with our new kitchen! Her extensive education and experience in design and construction management was clear from the very beginning.
>
> From start to finish, Elizabeth helped us every step of the way. Her eye for aesthetics, function, and architectural design resulted in brightening our old dark kitchen, seamlessly blending it with the rest of our 45-year-old home, and making it look intentional. The result is stunning, and we are impressed with how much more functional our remodeled kitchen is.
>
> All of this, combined with her excellent communication with us and the contractors, helped us feel much more relaxed and confident, instead of stressed. Now we wish we’d known about her several years earlier!
>
> We highly recommend Elizabeth Lord for your home remodeling projects!

**★★★★★ — HU-402299440, Oct. 2025**

> Working with Elizabeth was an absolute pleasure! She brought a perfect balance of creativity and practicality to our full home remodel. Her attention to detail, deep knowledge of design and construction, and thoughtful space planning turned a daunting project into a beautiful reality. She truly listened to our ideas, made smart, practical suggestions to keep within our budget, and turned our 80's style home into a new functional space we absolutely love. We definitely couldn’t have made it through this 5-month remodel without Elizabeth’s help. Thank you Elizabeth for turning our old house into a beautiful new home!

**★★★★★ — Rebecca Rodriguez, Sept. 2025**

> I have hesitated a long time to write a review of Elizabeth, because I have selfishly wanted to keep her like the best little secret, all to myself.
>
> She helped my husband and I with an extensive kitchen renovation and remodel in 2023-2024 and more recently with an upgrade to our guest bath, and I can say with certainty that there is NO ONE I would ever think to work with instead in the future. Our projects went as smoothly as they could have (there are always bumps and surprises, especially with a nearly 100-year-old home) thanks to her, and the final products were a beautiful reflection of our tastes, making our home feel even more like home.
>
> I cannot say enough kind things about her as a human, her work, her vision, her understanding of all aspects of the design and execution, her work ethic, her professionalism, etc, and neither can anyone else I speak with who knows her or has had the pleasure to work with her or alongside her on a project. She's really a gem.

**★★★★★ — Matt, April 2025**

> Elizabeth was easy to work with. She was able to understand our style and her years of experience came through with each meeting. The remodel turned out great and we are very happy with the design.

**★★★★★ — Michelle, Sept. 2024**

> Elizabeth really helped us with our bathroom remodel. She is engaging, very cost-sensitive and responsive to questions. She went above and beyond helping us manage a dispute with our contractor. Highly recommend!

**★★★★★ — nikkil17, Sept. 2024**

> We cannot say enough great things about Elizabeth. Her design expertise and guidance were key to our vision becoming a reality when completing our extensive renovation (main floor, basement, and kids' bathroom). Elizabeth helped us reimagine our space and make design selections that are beautiful, mindfully priced, and able to withstand our family of five and dog. She was always responsive and worked seamlessly with our contractors. We were lucky to have a great team, and Elizabeth was a key player!

**★★★★★ — p\_ryan\_odonoghue, May 2024**

> We recently undertook a complete renovation of our 1905 craftsman home, and we couldn't be happier with the results, thanks to Elizabeth. From start to finish, she was an absolute delight to work with. Her unique combination of construction expertise and design experience was exactly what we needed to bring our vision to life.
>
> Elizabeth's aesthetic and style perfectly complemented the historical charm of our home while incorporating modern touches that have truly transformed the space. She guided us through every step of the process, helping us avoid numerous potential pitfalls with her keen insight and thoughtful recommendations. What could have been a daunting and stressful endeavor was made enjoyable and exciting with Elizabeth by our side.
>
> Her ability to blend practicality with creativity ensured that our home is not only beautiful but also functional. The end result exceeded our wildest dreams, and we are endlessly grateful for her dedication, professionalism, and genuine passion for her work.
>
> If you're looking for a designer who will go above and beyond to make your renovation project a success, look no further than Elizabeth. She has our highest recommendation!

**★★★★★ — Lindsay Washington, Feb. 2024**

> Hiring Ellie was the smartest decision we made in our entire remodeling process. She was with us through every step, including thinking through the layout of several rooms, sharing what materials would be a good fit for our family and lifestyle, and providing guidance about placement of fixtures and hardware (among a million other things). One of the best things she does is narrow down the infinite number of choices so you don't waste brain energy on things that ultimately won't work or won't look good. Because Ellie understands all different styles of homes and what is authentic, your remodel or addition looks like it belongs with the rest of the house, rather than standing out as a "one-off" project. She stays on top of local and national advancements in design and can move effortlessly between traditional and modern styles (and everything in between). Even if you have a contractor you love, you still need Ellie. She is the glue that holds the vision together and is a constant source of humor, reassurance, expertise, and genuine passion for the work she does. Working with Ellie made the difference in our remodel not just being "nice" but being "amazing."

**★★★★★ — Kelly Warren, Nov. 2023**

> Ellie was true a lifesaver for our home remodel project! She executed our vision perfectly. She thoughtfully reconfigured our home layout to create a functional space for our family. She was a true partner every step of the way, and her attention to detail is impeccable. She is incredibly knowledgeable in every aspect of remodeling - from floor plans to electrical layouts, construction, design finishes, and beyond. She is a team player and was a huge help in coordinating and executing our project details. The results are truly unbelievable. Ellie is responsive, professional and personable. She made the entire process enjoyable and dare I say fun?! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for design support and will absolutely be using her again in the future!

**★★★★★ — None, Nov. 2023**

> Elizabeth was a huge asset to our bathroom remodel. She worked with us closely to create a design that met our needs exactly. She shared her style sense and product knowledge with us and assisted in selecting everything we needed down to the last fan! Her specs were invaluable during the construction, nearly every question the contractor posed was easily answered by the design spec. She referred us to a known contractor who was very reliable and he ensured every detail was completed as we expected.
>
> I would call Elizabeth again for any project!

**★★★★★ — Lauren Ambrozic, Oct. 2023**

> Elizabeth has exceptional skill with vision, design and execution of new spaces - she was able to decisively help us with the vision for our new kitchen and first floor, as well as very actively coordinate with contractors and vendors throughout the project with humor and grace to not only stay on time and task but make the project fun - and the end result is absolutely stunning and beautiful. Elizabeth is very good at her craft and a joy to work with!

**★★★★★ — Morgan Alonzo, Sept. 2023**

> We had the pleasure of working with Ellie on two recent home renovation projects, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. Ellie is not just a designer but a true partner in every sense. Her attention to detail is impeccable, and she provided us with interactive blueprints that made it easy to visualize our project.
>
> What sets Ellie apart is her deep knowledge of structural design. She worked closely with our contractors, ensuring that every aspect of the project was executed flawlessly. Her talent is undeniable, and it's clear that she's passionate about her craft.
>
> Ellie's customer-focused approach was a breath of fresh air. She took the time to listen to our ideas and concerns, and she was always there to answer our questions. Her loyalty and commitment to our project were unwavering, and she stuck by our side from the very beginning to the final touches.
>
> I can't recommend Ellie enough. If you're looking for a designer who combines talent, expertise, and a genuine dedication to your project's success, Ellie is the one to choose. She turned our vision into reality, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

  - Description: When this homeowner saw her dream gas range on a billboard in Naples, Italy years ago, she knew she couldn’t remodel her kitchen without it. So, we focused our attention on the focal point of the kitchen and built the design around it. After hand selecting the color and finish, the @officine\_gullo range was built to our specifications for this personalized space. With some reconfiguring of walls and walkways, as well as new organizational components, we executed a kitchen layout that not only me…

  - Description: When the homeowners decided to move back to Colorado from out of state, they had an idea of the neighborhood they wanted to live in. After reviewing many listings virtually, this home appeared on the MLS and they knew they needed to act fast. Once purchased, the homeowners began researching how to make this home their dream home, since it was in their dream location. The clients had exciting and creative ideas, with goals of opening the space, integrating colorful details and designing a functio…

  - Description: When the homeowners purchased their new home, they also knew it needed some updating, and the first project would be their primary bathroom. They loved the mid-century style of the house and wanted to update their bathroom to reflect that and create a cohesive design aesthetic. One question we hoped to answer was why the gorgeous vaulted ceilings in the spacious primary bedroom, didn’t continue into the primary bath space. The existing dropped ceiling made the bathroom feel small, dark and lacke…

  - Location: Denver, CO
  - Photos: 14
  - Description: Originally, the homeowners had planned to scrape the house and build new. But with the sky rocketing prices of lumber and the long lead times for materials, they pivoted and ventured into a whole house remodel of the existing structure. This meant using the existing footprint of the kitchen, which was narrow, dark and dated. After consulting with our contractor, we made smart decisions regarding the function of the space. With the added brass hardware, fun transparent pendants and innovated appl…

  - Description: With a new home purchased and a new baby on the way, these fun and forward-thinking homeowners wanted a kitchen that would not only be functional for the space, but a conversation starter. They wanted a warm but modern aesthetic, with added color for a focal point. The layout of the existing kitchen provided minimal prep space around the cooktop. By relocating and switching the cooktop and fridge, provided ample countertop surface around the cooking area, and created a nice appliance garage next…

  - Description: When this fun and plant loving client hired us to design their bungalow kitchen, they came with great taste, and most importantly, an understanding of what didn't work in their current kitchen. With the hopes of removing the wall and integrating the adjacent sunroom into the new space, this allowed for an abundance of natural light to flood the kitchen and provided a beautiful new home for their plants. - Description: An underutilized room off the kitchen served one purpose, laundry. The room had a large footprint but failed to truly capture the functionality this homeowner wanted from their laundry space. Because of it’s proximity to the kitchen and backyard, we wanted to create a new multi-purpose room, that still housed the laundry and it’s necessary accessories, in addition to being a fully functioning and aesthetically pleasing bar space. - Description: When the homeowner relocated from the East Coast, she knew she wanted to live a condo building with character and charm. She purchased this condo because of the historic past of the building, and the beautifully elaborate lobby, along with the location. But the condo unit itself needed some work. Although it had ornate dental crown molding, 10” tall base molds in every room, and beautiful leaded glass windows throughout, the kitchen had been remodeled in recent years, and sorely lacked the charm…

  - Description: What a transformation! This kitchen takes the prize for the most inefficient use of space in the existing layout. In my almost 20 years, I've never seen a worse work triangle and waste of valuable square footage. But that was all about to change.... This fun and forward-thinking young family of four wanted to maximize storage, functionality and flow. We redesigned the layout to include a new sink and range location, large island with seating for four, and a work triangle more conducive for multi…

  - Description: This beautiful home in Centennial had an upstairs hall bath that needed alittle refresh. With a pull-and-replace remodel, we kept the tub, toilet and vanity in the existing locations, but gave them an upgrade! And a fun added detail with the shiplap focal point wall in the toilet nook.

  - Description: Originally, the design scope of work included the kitchen, family room and dining room. It soon extended to the master bath and exterior, which I was grateful for, as these clients had surely become one of my favorites to work with. Quick decision makers and decisive in what they liked, we updated their home of 30+ years with a more transitional rustic aesthetic, that included opening up the compartmentalized tri-level home into spaces that flowed naturally together. We removed the wall between…

## Community Q&A

**Q: Where can the stacked slate be purchased?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I like the colors and size of the stacked slate shower surround. Where can this be purchased in the color and style used here?

A: This project was completed five years ago. It was a mesh panel system. Unfortunately I don’t remember the name. It was a multi-color slate.

**Q: where did you get the kitchen backsplash tile?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell us the type of tile in kitchen backsplash, where can we order it?

A: https://www.annsacks.com/products/tile-stone-mosaic/tiempo-field-tiles\#/tiempo-twz-36

It's an Ann Sacks tile. They may not make this pattern anymore but these are the tiles!

**Q: Where did the cabinets come from? Love the beetle kill pine!** *(in Photo Questions)*

We have a small kitchen and looking to remodel in Amarillo, TX

A: We used Wedgwood Cabinetry in Colorado.

https://www.wedgewoodcabinetry.com/denver-co-custom-cabinet-design-company/cabinetry-lines/wedgewood/

**Q: Beautiful! Who made the cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Acorn Custom Cabinets located in Newcastle, Washington.

**Q: Is the glass customer made or can one buy the complete door and sides?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This was a custom fabrication based on the finished dimensions. Any glass fabricator can create this for you. Thanks!

**Q: Kitchen backsplash** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the brand of that tile? I am looking for a green subway tile like that.

A: It's from Ann Sacks. It's a 4"x8" glass tile. Good luck!
