> Ingrid is not only nice, but easy to work with! She listens to your needs and makes sure that your design voice is heard. I would definitely hire her again!

**★★★★★ — Suzanne Conti, June 2020**

> I have had the pleasure of working with Ingrid on several occasions. Ingrid is very talented and never disappoints. I trust her with making the decisions and helping me to purchase furnishings for my home.

**★★★★★ — Laura Kappos, June 2020**

> We loved working with Ingrid. She helped us from start to finish with the design and finishes for our new home all as well as fixtures and furniture. Ingrid will listen, incorporate your ideas and you will love the result. We would highly recommend Ingrid for your next project.

> Ingrid helped me pick paint colors for my entire house when I was very pregnant and very indecisive! From my home office to the new nursery upstairs, she coordinated
> colors to flow between 13 rooms! I never would have been able to complete this task before baby arrived if it wasn’t for Ingrid. She did an amazing job and I would hire her again for future home projects (crossing my fingers on a kitchen reno!)

> Ingrid takes the time to understand your style and what is important to you. She has the ability to extract your ideas (which, in my case, were sometimes disparate) and pull them together into your design dream. Ingrid is also very personable and was pleasure to partner with on our project.

**★★★★★ — Stephanie Weemhoff, June 2020**

> Ingrid was wonderful to work with. She is very creative and easy to be around. She gives great ideas with the understanding of what her clients taste is. I had Ingrid help design a remodel bathroom. It is beautiful and I get lots of compliments on the design.

**★★★★★ — Megan Roche, Jan. 2018**

> We hired Ingrid to help us with an addition and kitchen remodel. She was with us from the very beginning and met with the architect and contractor to insure that our ideas were well planned from the beginning. She had some great ideas for the spaces and came up with designs that we never would have thought of by ourselves. When it came time to decorate the spaces, Ingrid was very patient with me. I am the type of person who needs to see all of the options before making a decision. Most of the time, I selected what she suggested. On the few occasions that I found something on my own, she was very enthusiastic and gave me her best advice on how to incorporate it into the project. Overall, the results were beautiful. I would highly recommend Ingrid.

**★★★★★ — Julie Pochman, Jan. 2018**

> Ingrid recently helped us design and remodel our kitchen. She helped us find a great general contractor to do the construction work and then led us through the process of choosing our materials, fixtures, and furniture. She is the consummate professional and was very patient and kind while we vacillated in our decision-making. We love how the kitchen turned out.

**★★★★★ — Nellie Masturzo, Dec. 2017**

> I am a person who knows what she wants and has limited time. Ingrid listened and accurately saw and implemented my vision on several projects over the years. She offered options that made my space better than I dreamed! My Great Room, kitchen and hearth area have all been dramatically transformed on a various budgets with new flooring, paint, molding, lighting, back splashes, granite, to art work and re-configuring furniture. No job is too big or small. In 2016, we gutted the kitchen down to the studs; she worked with contractors to ensure we were on track throughout. She totally redesigned the entire space to meet our vision. Finally, she understood my style, taste and budget and offered me proper selection to make the process easier, less stressful and timely. My home is completely transformed for the better and now we can never leave! I love it! Thanks to Ingrid!

**★★★★★ — Janelle Ranieri, Dec. 2017**

> Ingrid has done two big projects for me - a basement and a master bath renovation - as well as numerous smaller projects around my home. My basement is beautiful! She was so respectful of my budget. We were able to refresh many existing structures like the kitchen and bathroom which kept the cost reasonable for a teen space. My master bath was a "gut" and Ingrid reconfigured the space to give us a huge shower. It's a much more efficient use of space. I am very pleased with her work and we are already onto the next project.

**★★★★★ — Gretchen Stevens, Dec. 2015**

> Hi,
> We bought a newer home and had to do a lot of mechanical upgrades as everything was original from 20 years ago. Then we installed hard wood floors, painted the house from top to bottom, all new lights, carpet and gutted the powder room. Ingrid was not the first designer we interviewed but her lovely personality, calm nature and her ability to listen helped her completely understand that we had a strict budget and would stop once we hit that budget. She did am amazing job helping us select colors, finishes, and stains. She didn't just pick, she also educated us on why things were chosen and how to mix things up. She listened to our needs, our styles and brought my husband and I together since our styles are complete opposite. We had a hard to stop this year as we hit our budget when we met an unexpected furnace upgrade and replacement, but look forward to starting again next year in the spring. That is when it will get really fun with the beautiful stuff like lamps, coffee tables and finishes!

> Ingrid was involved in all aspects of a major remodeling of our family room as well as updating the rest of the first floor of our home. She was tremendously helpful in selecting the design, materials and colors throughout the first floor and when the redesign was complete, determined the placement of the artwork and other accent pieces. She was professional and exhibited excellent design knowledge while guiding us through this project. It was a pleasure to work with Ingrid.

  - Location: Not specified

  - Description: One of the very first questions I hear from my clients is: How do I get started? Or Where do I start? When it came time to update my own home, I knew that I’d use art as an inspiration for the overall design. So I worked with an artist to incorporate colors we love as a family on a gallery wall to display in the family room of our home. Being the place where we gather to spend time together, and having a large family, means there was a need for a lot of seating and a big TV. And this spacious se…
- [White Project](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/white-project-pj-vj~2862956)
  - Location: Chesterland, OH
  - Photos: 11
  - Description: The entire space was transformed to provide a new layout in the kitchen to open up to the family room. Incorporating the garden room into the design brings in the outdoors. Homeowners often learn how to live in their home, instead of making their home support their lives, which is especially the case during the busy child-rearing years of life. However, kids grow up, adults begin to entertain more often for friends, and an opportunity arises to transform a home to function better, which is exact…
- [Hilltop Project](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/hilltop-project-pj-vj~2882274)
  - Location: Chagrin Falls, OH
  - Photos: 22
  - Description: We updated this home to provide a luxury master suite with all new configuration in the bath. By placing the soaking tub in the window and enlarging the shower, the whole room opened up. Heated floor in a herringbone marble, what a treat. In the rec room we totally updated the space and added a work out room, updated bath, fun wall paper, plaid carpet and new fireplace surround that is spectacular. Check out the fun wallpaper and mirror in the animal themed powder room.
- [Stone Project](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/stone-project-pj-vj~1795628)
  - Location: Not specified

  - Description: For a family who loves entertaining, one idea may develop into something much bigger, which is exactly what happened in the case of this family who decided to update a great portion of their home to create more spaces for get-together. We began by taking off the deck and creating a porch by adding a roof for an outdoor living space meant to bring everyone together. Now, you might find someone reading under the porch off the kitchen or gathering by the firepit in the evenings. Better yet, there’s…
- [Wembley Project](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/wembley-project-pj-vj~6258180)

  - Description: When this family first moved into their home, one of the younger children told their mother to “get in her spot.” Wondering what spot that was? In front of the stove! For 13 years this mom cooked grilled cheese after grilled cheese (and many other meals) for her four children — and their friends and extended family. While she loves to cook and spend time in her kitchen, her children were getting older, and she knew it was time to update one of the most used rooms in the house. We worked together…
- [Chicago Project](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/chicago-project-pj-vj~6211964)
  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 15
  - Description: After the loss of his wife, my client knew he needed to begin again, but where? With three of his adult children living in Chicago, and another child and his own mother close by, the choice seemed clear: it was time to move to the city where he grew up. So he returned to Chicago, and found a home in the Lake Point Towers, which was close to all the activities he loves to do: explore, run, see his favorite teams play, and of course to spend time with his family. Now, it is possible to find a spac…

  - Description: Don’t wait to call an interior designer after your new build is finished. Working with me from the earliest phrase throughout the entire project gives you peace in knowing that your home will support your lifestyle and be the perfect fit — as all new builds should be! For this project, I worked with empty nesters who decided to move to Ohio to be near their children and grandkids from Indiana. They wanted a home that was built for grown-ups, but could transform into a family space to host large…

  - Description: The open floorpan of this basement and the trip to a speakeasy was the inspiration for this project. The homeowners wanted a place to entertain their friends and also be able to relax with their small children on the weekend to watch movies. With a solid design they were able to accomplish both. Check out my pintrest board for all the behind the scenes inspiration on this project. It's also on my blog!

  - Description: Old homes have so much character; yet, if the space needs to be gutted, it’s important to bring as much of that character back into the home in the redesign. This project is still underway, and it’s taking an entire team to turn the vision into a reality. In this 1867 historical Victorian home I’m working with the homeowner, an architect, and a contractor, in a gut-and-rebuild project that will bring this beauty back to life. Stay tuned for updated photos and a behind-the-scenes peek as this hom…

The kitchen is the hub of this happy home and all the rooms are open and airy with great views of the yard.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Gorgeous tile on the fireplace surround! Where can I find it?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Also, the kitchen tile - is it from the same manufacturer? Beautiful.

A: Thank you for the tile information, it is stunning.

**Q: Love the couch! Where is it from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi! Thanks for the question. This couch came from a store here called Thomasville. I would try them online. Also look at Wayfair, Ethan Allen, Pottery Barn and Birch Lane. The fabric is a linen we had treated with stain protector because of the light color. The pillows are custom. Let me know if you need more information.

**Q: Great Bookself** *(in Photo Questions)*

Who made the two bookshelves? Interesting and unique design that has several different design elements which make for beauty of design in normally mundane functional bookshelves.

A: Thanks for the question. The book shelves are from a little antique shop in our area. I don't have a manufacture.

**Q: Where is the oven? Is it hidden, built-in to the cabinet?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Love the kitchen. Hard to believe it is 12 years old.

A: Yes, the oven is built into a wall cabinet. Thanks!

**Q: Love the round pedestal table in the left back corner, bought where?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me the manufacturer of the pedestal table and the finish and size if available... Cozy room!

A: Thanks for your question! The round pedestal table is from Restoration Hardware. The french bistro collection form last year. It's all metal in finish bronze, 30" round

**Q: I love the fabric also! What is the name and make of the fabric?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thanks for the question. Which fabric do you mean?
