We talked about the remodel of the home inherited. He stated his crew was ready to start when I was ready. I put down $15,000 as a down payment. We were moving out of our rental home by May. I requested to have 1 functional restroom, kitchen and at least 1 room available. Mr. assured me that would be complete. In January I had the home leveled and asked Mr. Canales to reach out to the owner of the foundation company to work around the leveling of the home. I was told by the Foundation Company that Mr. Canales never called nor visited the home. Mr. Canales started demoing walls by the end of February. In April Mr. Canales asked for $6,000 to keep working on my home. I only was able to give $4,000. He said that would help out with more material. After plumbing was complete. He said the restroom and toilets were functional. I asked for the plumbers info. Mr. Canales didn’t have an invoice nor any receipts of material not even a name of the plumber. He stated he doesn’t remember the plumbers last name and the plumber changes frequently. One and only worker (Joe) that Mr. Canales uses stated that he did all the work himself. A professional plumber was never at my home. Due to issues with the gas water heater installation and the extension that was already on the home before I inherited it led to the gas to be red flagged. Now the gas is back on at the home. I have reached out to Mr. Canales and have not received a response. The home has bare walls with the wires exposed. Gaps In between the walls and floor to see to the ground. I the restroom is incomplete with no shower pan and is bare walls. I have had to call a plumber and pay out more to unclog the sewer line and was told the plumbing was done incorrectly and would need to be adjusted ASAP. Mr. Canales did not complete anything that was discussed on the invoice. **★★ — HU-812730318, July 2020** > Paul, the owner, guarantees his work. However, my kitchen faucet was not installed correctly. And the motion detector lights do not work. He ignores my texts and requests.
