Ian is always looking at the big picture but breaks it down really well in the details. The natural light in this every room project and scale of window and door openings is truly amazing. > We hope to have the opportunity to build another project with Moller Architecture. **★★★★★ — gsyman, March 2015** > We retained Ian Moller as our architect to design and supervise the construction of our new home in Belvedere, CA. The genre is Mediterranean/Italian. Given Ian's lengthy experience in designing homes of this type here in California and, particularly, his experience doing so in Italy, we felt he was the single best choice for the project. He did an excellent job of taking our concept and translating that into a design with extensive detail that brought to life what we had been imagining. In addition, he was immensely helpful in securing important design elements in Italy that gives our home a very authentic look and feel. Ian was heavily involved in all aspects of the project which was an important part of getting the project completed correctly and on time. If i were to undertake another project, Ian Moller would be a top contender. ## Selected projects - [Sonoma County Residence](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/sonoma-county-residence-pj-vj~988987) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 6 - Description: A wine country residence situated on a wooded promontory. The structure's architectural massing gathers together both rustic forms and contemporary details. The palette of materials includes stone, plaster, "fumed" oak and over-sized steel sash. Significant attention was spent on framing valley views that lie below the residence on all sides of the home. - [Napa Valley Residence](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/napa-valley-residence-pj-vj~990135) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 10 - Description: A contemporary farmhouse in the Napa Valley. The site is nestled in oak woodlands just above the valley floor. The house and gardens have been situated with axial views directed at the undulating vineyards and mountains beyond. By employing traditional wrap-around porches as well as generous window openings, the residence feels luxurious with its blended interior and exterior spaces while sharing an intimacy with the surrounding gardens. - [Woodside Residence](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/woodside-residence-pj-vj~989018) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 5 - [Peninsula Residence](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/peninsula-residence-pj-vj~989201) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 6 - [Seacliff Residence](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/seacliff-residence-pj-vj~990100) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 5 - [Pacific Heights Residence](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/pacific-heights-residence-pj-vj~990183) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 7 - [Belvedere Residence](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/belvedere-residence-pj-vj~990170) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 6 - [Shingle Style Residence in Woodside](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/shingle-style-residence-in-woodside-pj-vj~989272) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 4 [See all 8 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/architects-and-building-designers/moller-architecture-inc-pfvwus-pf~847475790) --- *Source: Houzz professional profile.
