Elizabeth Brosnan Hourihan’s background in architecture, design, antiques and fine art, and her extensive experience in projects involving new construction, restoration and renovation make her an indispensable member of an integrated project design team. Sensitivity to the environment flows naturally from preserving the historic integrity of a project, additionally Elizabeth’s most recent endeavors have incorporated the teachings of Paul Bierman-Lytle, an early proponent of health, beauty and the environment in architectural design. 

Elizabeth’s projects have been selected for presentation in the country’s leading design journals, including Architectural Digest, New England Home, Design New England and Trends; she has also been featured on television and on-line. Her projects range from major restorations of historically important residences to the design, construction and completion of new construction. She has worked for internationally recognized architectural and design firms including Washington, DC-based Mary Douglas Drysdale, Claus F. Rademacher in New York, the noted Bauhausist, Swiss architect and artist, Alberto Sartoris, and the award-winning New England firm Carpenter & MacNeille.
