**Q: island stools in green farmhouse kitchen photo** *(in Photo Questions)*

I am interested in getting information on where I can purchase the island stools in the photo of the green farmhouse kitchen.

A: We are not sure.  The customer purchased separately for the project.   Sorry!

**Q: Did the cooktop installation pass code inspection?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Did the cooktop installation pass code inspection?  Where I live in Austin, code requires 9" of countertop on either side of the cooktop.

A: It did pass inspection as part of a larger remodel involving the primary contractor.  That said, a 36" cooktop on the the end of a 40" island certainly isn't ideal.  This layout was the result of numerous compromises due to space and features the homeowner wanted.
