> I already had the designs and plans laid out for my house.

> I was introduced to Al from FoxxYork and as soon as he heard I was moving to the area and had purchased a house I was going to be doing some decorating and remodeling on, he seemed to see this as an opportunity for him to make money off me.
>
> I refused him multiple times but he kept insisting he could help me realize my design, shorten the timeline and even save me money on the whole project.
> That is not what happened.
>
> What happened was he dragged through a few vendors (many were overpriced and sloppy) to look at the house under the guise of generating quotes (I saw almost no quotes from anyone). He did this all while telling me what great ideas I had (like I didn't already know).
>
> After 5 or 6 weeks of him racking up hours I was going to have pay him for, not single vendor he brought in started anything. I ended up starting to hire my own contractors and vendors (many of whom delivered work within days of hiring).
>
> I finally decided I had enough when after a visit to one of his wallpaper and fabric vendors who had instructed me to go to an unaffiliated website to purchase fabric for curtains (after they had nothing I wanted). I dropped a substantial amount of money on fabric only to have him inform me a few days later that vendor wouldn't make the curtains because I purchased fabric from someone else (even though they directed me to the site I purchased from). Al chalked it up to a "learning curve." Except I got to foot the bill for his lessons.

> I finally fired them and paid $825 for nothing but to go away. I was debating even sharing the experience. I decided for the sake of other would-be clients and frankly to vent the frustration at having my time and money wasted, that I'd share the account and experience.

> Among things I hate others taking for granted are my time and my money FoxxYork wasted both! And I doubt I will ever forgive that. I should have stood firm when I refused to let them near my home the first times I refused their "services."
