The railing and posts are made from white cedar branches/trees that were found in a local woods. I believe the carpenter attached the rails to the posts with deck screws or similar. We typically source our irregular limestone flagstone from various quarries throughout Wisconsin. It comes in bulk on pallets and we piece the stone together using stone chisels and cutoff saws.
