> Really wish I could write an upbeat review here. But I can't. They failed to deliver flooring on the date promised. And the late order was incomplete. Reordered the missing pieces...and missed the promise date again. Refused to take any responsibility for missing the dates, even though I had to pay my installation crew to stand around and wait for the better part of three days. Really poor customer experience all around. I'll be using a different supplier for future flooring projects.

**Comment from Workman Flooring:**

> I am sorry you feel this way. We have tried our best working with the manufacturer and with the shipping company whom we have no control over which you also agreed when we discussed regarding this issue. I am sorry we could not fulfill your expectations. The dates we promised you where provided by the manufacturer and the shipping company unfortunately we can only communicate what they have offered us thus we are having to go thru this experience together with you.

> Ultimately demanded $350 discount for a painful and frequently extended process. Many redos. Poor workmanship. Rarely felt like our questions/concerns were addressed or that they even cared. Never strived to do great work, rather they consistently tried to pass off the bare minimum that would result in us paying the bill. We ended up accepting a discount and an unfinished job just to be done with them. The floor tech left for another appointment; leaving some wood stain, some sandpaper, and instructions on how to finish the last bit of our project (who does that?!) They cut our carpet back too far (6" or so) in our closet. This is one of reminders we see everyday. Because of its location, we haven't paid to fix it. But still irks us. The new hallway flooring doesn't fully line up with the threshold plank, all of which is new construction/installation. Their solution was to color match wood putty to fill in gaps. They did a great job of color matching, but the filler is noticeable. I don't know why there was gaps to start out with. It's all new construction!! The project manager said "his guys are really good at doing what they're directly told, but sometimes don't go out of their way to do a great job. These guys are just plain terrible! We went with Workman because a close friend loved their work. Strange how different our experiences were. Just be very careful with these guys. Make sure everything is documented. And be sure to be address problems and concerns, because there will definitely be many. I don't like leaving a negative review, but I'd rather be honest than polite.

**Comment from Workman Flooring:**

> Jason we worked on your floor in 2015 and I am sorry your experience did not meet your expectations. We pride ourselves on customer service and leaving people with a great floor. We rarely advertise and rely on referrals from satisfied customers like your friend. Things can go wrong on a job and we try to address those issues promptly. We are sorry you felt this process was prolonged. Occasionally since we are very busy going back to a job can take longer than we like or intend. We felt that we did address all the issues and that you were satisfied with the discount for the delay. Please call me if you would like to discuss this Tony Workman 801-293-9130

> Workman Flooring is a great company that is honest, precise and easy to work with. We used them for new hardwood installs, refinishing existing hardwood and patching in wood floor. We also used them for some carpeting. Definitely call them for you next project.

> Workman Flooring carpeted my basement and did a great job. Then it flooded, State Farm didn't pay enough to cover new carpet, so Workman came back and took care of it - they replaced the pad, and re-installed the carpet. It's almost as good as new.

**★★★★★ — Kimberly Sachs, Aug. 2013**

> Tony, the owner, is the ultimate professional - knowledgeable, honest and does a great job. As a designer, I have worked with Workman Flooring for six years for both carpet and hardwood flooring on over 25 homes.
