> My wife and I hired Drew Humber and his company "Built by Humber Ltd." to a complete wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling, basement-to roof renovation of our home.   The house was built by my parents 50 years ago, and after my father's death we decided to keep the house and move into it ourselves.   But no improvements or renovations had been made in that 50 years, and much work was required.   We hired Drew Humber and his crew based on high recommendations from other family members who had used his services in recent years, and we have been exceedingly pleased with the outcome.  The house was essentially taken back to its exterior walls, and the renovations included all new doors, windows, electrical and heating equipment, replacement and removal of some interior walls to realign the rooms, installation of new bathrooms, an entirely new kitchen, new flooring throughout and complete finishing of a previously unfinished basement to provide a family room, an additional bedroom and bathroom and office and storage space.  We found Drew's cost estimates to be quite accurate and realistic, and we were never surprised by anything unexpected.  His workers were hard-working, friendly and polite.  He hired excellent sub-contractors (plumbers, electricians, kitchen designers etc.) who without exception did fine work on a par with Drew's own work.   We have now lived in the home for almost 2 years, and we remain very happy with everything Drew and his team accomplished for us.   Equally important, when small questions or items have arisen since the completion of the work, Drew has been very attentive and responsive to any questions we have had, or any very minor follow up work that was required.

Work was completed within the reasonable time frames he promised and at the cost he indicated in advance (within the usual variances that would naturally be anticipated in a project of this size). As Drew said to us quite often "there are no problems, only solutions".   We could not recommend him and his company more highly.
