Who supplies that in Phoenix?** *(in Photo Questions)* I'm looking to install corten steel details in my landscaping. Where can I get that in the Phoenix area? A: Thank you! We actually used standard hot-rolled steel for this project which is readily available at any of the steel distributors in town. **Q: Kitchen cabinet doors** *(in Design Dilemma)* I have some shaker style kitchen cabinets that have plain glass doors but no muntins. Can I install muntins/ grilles on the inside or will it look odd? A: I think it all depends on execution and material choice. This can definitely be a successful option. **Q: 1940's Colonial Landscape Ideas!!!!** *(in Design Dilemma)* What kind of landscape would you suggest? Also, the walkway leads to street, would you change to lead to driveway on side? Any suggestions would be helpful! We live in Mass A: These have a lean profile but still offer some 'heft' to give visual weight and they're not too frilly. If you're going to spend money on lights, make sure they make an impact. **Q: bathroom shower head - rain or regular?** *(in Design Dilemma)* I'm in the middle of a master bathroom shower install and wondered what is better - a regular shower head or a rain head? I'm not sure I would like the water on my face the whole time I'm showering, however, it does seem more relaxing to take a rain shower. Opinions, please. A: Based on personal and professional experience: Adjustable bar hand shower is the best option. Rain showers, while perceived as luxurious, are a bit of a fad and according to my wife, a real pain when you don't plan on getting your hair wet. **Q: Help Identifying A Tree** *(in Arizona Gardening)* We recently purchased a home, and are trying to figure out what one mystery tree (or maybe shrub?) is. When we moved in the sprinkler system was shot, so it was not getting watered. It's in a spot in the yard where it gets cooked all day long (Phoenix), yet seemed to be okay. It appears to be thriving now that it has water. It's very VERY thorny. Hoping to identify it as it's a tight area with the house and two fence walls around it, and if it's going to be a large tree, it's probably not a good spot (the former owners were great at planting things as if they would never, ever grow). Our landscape guy had no idea what it was. A few pics attached in case anyone might know. Thank you so much! A: Some sort of citrus. Moon Valley Nursery can id for you if you bring a limb. **Q: Panelled feature wall??** *(in Design Dilemma)* Our main floor is open (kitchen, dining and family room) with a large empty wall and vaulted ceiling in the family room. I had contemplated filling this wall space with a large art gallery wall or open display shelves but I would absolutely LOVE to do a feature wall of white wainscotting/panelling (see photos below). My questions are 1) would this go with the contemporary(ish) style of my home? 2) would I have to put crown moulding around the entire ceiling on the main floor? 3) where would I stop the wainscotting (ie. on either side of the staircase or just the single wall)? and lastly, 4) would it look weird with the angled ceiling? Thanks so much for your input-- it is much appreciated and you have all been so helpful with my other questions. A: Go for the molding!! Its the right choice for a feature. However, I suggest a contemporary design rather than the traditional molding you pictured. There are limitless configurations and the price is all basically the same.
