I put a deposit down on 2 remnant pieces of quartz (Mirragio Duo from the same lot) about 6 weeks before my renovation started. I needed a 30" single sink vanity (without backsplash), a 16" countertop, and a shower threshold and was told that there was more than enough for the 3 pieces. > > However, there was miscommunication between the technician doing the templating and the fabricator who cut the stone. Because the fabricator cut a 3" backsplash for the vanity piece, there was no longer enough stone to provide a shower threshold. In order to avoid holding up my shower installation, we had to use a piece of bright white quartz for the threshold. > > Then, I was told that the second remnant piece was sold to another customer. I had to wait approximately 6 weeks for another piece of Mirragio Duo to complete the 16" countertop. The piece is from a different lot and looks totally different than the 30" vanity piece. > > Also, every single time I had someone scheduled to come to my home for either templating or installation, the crew was over 2 hours late.
