SES was hired to replace siding and piers with termite damage, dry rot with cats-claw vine making it worse. The job was to recover 3 sides with Hardi boards, 2 sets of back stairs, several piers replaced, and the exterior painted. The job has taken longer than expected, but SES started on time & have been great. This is the second time we hired SES to help this old house--a few years ago they fixed a rotting wall and rebuilt one bathroom for 7000. They literally do everything and do it well, from a total renovation to a small chimney leak. The estimate is always the price paid, never a hidden charge and deviates only due to owner requested change orders, or things like unexpected termite damage, etc. When they schedule you, they stick to the date and stick with the job through completion. A: I think a light blue / teal such as Sherwin Williams SW6765 Spa with a Bright White trim would really brighten up the space and contrast the brick fireplace well. **Q: HELP with the exterior color of this house.** *(in Design Dilemma)* Blah & wrong color. How can we update so it's Wow. And without having to repaint the entire house. Budget! Thanks in advance! A: Leave the shutters on the the bottom windows but trim to fit. Remove shutters from front door. Paint the front door a bright color to contrast with the dullness of the siding and shutters. Install a decoration centered (L and W) in the space between the 2 upper windows to mirror the front door. And finally... plant bright flowers along the front of the home!!!
