> This buyer is spot in. San Diego is littered with the failure and SB-800 construction defect claims from Vesta Pacific. We are Ando 23, contemporary homes they built in 2015-2019. They have ruined people’s lives. They have filed bankruptcy a few times and come back under another LLC under the project. Do your homework. Stay far away from them.

> Where do I begin...
> We bought a new build from Vesta Pacific in April of 2019. We have regretted it ever since. I have been through the new home buying process several times, and builders are always difficult to deal with, and it requires a lot of patience. But this experience has been a nightmare. Throughout our 1 year of home warranty period, it has been exhausting to get even the most minor issues scheduled and fixed. It usually comes down to me having to threaten to go out and hire someone to do it, and then send Vesta Pacific the bill. From the get go, I learned quickly that if it was something I could do myself, I should go ahead and do it rather then have to waste my time trying to plead and prod and babysit the builder to get someone out here. As an example, we have Cat5 ethernet wiring throughout the house, and all of it was terminated with phone jacks. It's 2019/2020. Who needs 10 house phones and no high speed data ports? The builders electrician claimed this was done to spec, and no argument from the builder. Ha! I went ahead and swapped out all the phone jacks for high speed data ports myself rather then deal with that kind of nonsense. It gets better. We installed a $50K solar system over the summer, and the builder claimed the house was 'solar ready', so we figured great, piece of cake. As soon as they were ready to turn it on, the city inspector came out. The wiring that the builder and electrician claimed they had installed, was not the actual wiring that they used, and we were not allowed to turn on our solar because the wiring did not meet the city code. The builder and his electrician denied any and all responsibility, until the city inspector, very graciously, wrote a detailed email explaining the issue. Finally they agreed to fix, except all they did was tear apart the drywall in the garage and lay the new wiring in, not hooking it up to anything. They told us it was ready to go, so the solar guys come back out to make sure everything was in order, and of course there's just loose wiring hanging in the walls. I ended up paying the solar electrician to finish the job. We had solar that was ready to go for an entire month before we actually were able to turn it on. Additionally, ourselves as well as our neighbors next door were promised that we would have an internet provider in our new development. Its a year later and no internet service is available here - even though Vesta Pacific claims they have paid AT&T to do the work, AT&T says they do not service our address. Vesta Pacific continues to ignore our requests for information or do the work required to get this to completion. Here's another one - we live in southern California, where actual bad weather is fairly uncommon, but the first time we had actual weather - a strong storm and downpour, the roof started leaking. Water in the house. I immediately called the builder and it took them a day to respond - and the response was to call the roofer myself. I did. They didnt get back to me until 3 days later, after more prodding and pleading. This is a multi-million dollar home, and I think people have a right to expect a certain level of customer service - with any home for that matter. Vesta Pacific has failed miserably at every level, and continues to do so. I would never recommend this company to do anything for you.

> We have had the privilege of working with Vesta Pacific. Great company, very professional. Would strongly recommend this company. Honest, reliable and trustworthy.
